Speedrun Achievement Gato Roboto

Hey there, I made this guide because I wanted to get the speedrun achievement for Gato Roboto and noticed there wasn´t any guide that explained everything well and clearly. I made the route based on a speedrun from OddBod, the time for the speedrun is 37:10 so even if you don´t do it as well as OddBod does you should be able to get the achievement. You can check the original video of the speedrun here There are a few things you need to know before starting: 1. This route is made to follow the colors and numbers indicated on each map. 2. Colors are followed starting with red and following the gradient (red, orange, yellow, green, blue...). 3. Theres numbers indicated in colors in the important parts of the route. 4. The description of each number will be on it´s corresponging section of the guide. 5. Number 1 is not the start of the segment, it´s the first important event! 6. When fighting the "bosses" focus on safety and not on speed, it´s better to be a bit slower than dying and losing a lot of time. 7. Cutscenes count for the total time, so remember to skip all of the dialog by mashing all of the front buttons together at the same time (on xbox controler) X, A, B, Y. 8. There are some parts of the route in which you´ll need to do a rocket boost to jump a bit higher, its an easy trick and saves some precious time. 9. This guide is made considering you already completed the game at least once, so various things, such as how to pass the mecha on the Incubator using the moving platforms are not marked or explained. Segment 1: Landing Site 1. Start and go directly for the mecha 2. Go back and take the health module (just for safety) 3. Leave the mecha 4. Take the rocket module 5. Go back to the mecha and fight the "mouse". After this you can leave to the Nexus Segment 2: The Nexus 1. Just rush to the first major zone, The Acueducts Segment 3: The Acueducts (On this segment you´ll need to leave and take the mecha several times, it´s pretty clear where to do it so it´s not marked) 1. Run on the first treadmill and take the mecha again 2. Run on the second treadmill and go back 3. Fight the mouse 4. Run on the third treadmill 5. Take the Spin Jump module 6. Go back to the Nexus Segment 4: The Nexus (2) 1. As before, just rush to the heater core Segment 5: The Heater Core 1. Fight the core 2. Break the wall on the left to return later 3. Fight the second core 4. Take the phase module 5. Fight the "mouse" 6. Take the coolant module and go out breaking the right wall. 7. Don´t forget the mecha!! Segment 6: The nexus (3) You are halfway there! check the time to make sure you are not so far behind 1. Go directly to the Ventilation Segment 7: Ventilation 1. Press the button and go back 2. Run from the "mouse" 3. Take the bigshot module 4. Press the button and go back 5. Fight the "mouse" 6. Press the button and go back to the Nexus Segment 8:The Nexus (4) 1. Talk to the computer 2. Go up to Landing Site to get the password Segment 9: Landing Site (2) 1. Take the password 2. Go back to the nexus (for the last time finally) Segment 10: The Nexus (5) 1. Talk to the computer and go down to the Incubator Segment 11: The Incubator 1. Go down to the laboratory Segmen 12: The Laboratory (END) 1. Fight on the elevator 2. Fight with the "ship" 3. Fight with the "doctor" 4.
