Your job is to buy "cages" and optionally respond to emails regarding them. Each cage is represented by an LED light on a grid. A sound will play and the light will flash when there is activity. Clicking on the light will focus on the cage. Clicking on words and objects will add them to your notebook. Clicking on words in your notebook (up to two) will add them to a Web Search and allow you to obtain more information. Some cages require an extra camera, night vision, or recording to solve them. Food and Health You start losing health once you reach 50% hunger, so don't starve yourself. Sometimes you can restart the day in order to get a different discount on food. Make sure to buy food in bulk. I recommend Chinese Food or Pizza as your main food source. Coffee is also very useful. You can stock up on 99 of each food item. Morality There are 3 achievements related to your morality (bad/neutral/good). The "best" ending can be obtained if you are good. You can increase your morality by tipping, donating money to your neighbor, and being a good person. You can reduce your morality by accepting mail for the wrong address, blackmailing, or hurting people. You receive a plant on Day 2 that gives you a hint at your morality. Special Jobs You unlock extra jobs after completing certain cages. These show up as smaller sticky notes on your door. Shock.TV You can record videos of cages. Recording a video and then clicking on it will give you a prompt to send the video to ShockTV. Sending the video can earn you money if the it contains sex, violence, or something illegal. Timeline Day 2 - Wylon's Witnesses give you a plant Day 5 - Rank 2 evaluation (9 cages required by end of day) Day 6 - ProOwl Mart installed, Night Vision enabled Day 8 - Police move in Day 10 - Rank 3 evaulation (16 cages required by end of day) Day 14 - Wylon's Witnesses pick up the plant Day 15 - Final day (25 cages required by end of day) Recommended Strategy Spend the first 2-4 days working jobs, buying food, paying rent, and sleeping. DO NOT watch the cages until after you have bought 8-9 of them. This maximizes your time because it allows you to watch more cages simultaneously. The only exception to this is if you get the Janitor at the start of the game because there is a time limit on helping him. Buy 10+ Chinese Food or Pizza at half price within the first 3 days. Restart a day until you get a food discount and a good set of 4-8 hour jobs. Only buy cages after buying food, paying rent, and then saving up $200+. You can skip paying rent 2 days in a row, so use this to your advantage. Eventually you should buy some Coffee at half price. Don't buy Fruit until later in the game when your health gets low. Solving a cage "closes" it and prevents you from interacting with it. This means you cannot take notes or perform anymore web searches for that cage. To maximize profit you should solve a cage AND answer to the study question email. Answering a study question correctly earns you $70 or more. If the study question says [CLOSES CAGE] then make sure and solve the cage before answering the email. Uninstall MonkeyVision before noon on Day 1 Call him and tell him to give up on his dreams. He will send you his wig which is worth $85. Call him and tell him to pursue his dreams. He will send you $50 every 3 days. Blackmail him and he will disappear. Tell him when the store is being robbed and he will reward you $35 each time. I believe the store is robbed between 1:00 and 3:00. Call the store when there is a customer in line. The owner will wake up and kill the customer. If you record the customer’s death and send the video to ShockTV they will send you $150. This results in the store owner being arrested. Schedule 0:00 Store opens Study Question: name of the location (Browning Fields) Call Stefan and give him the location of the crop circle. He will win the lottery and send you $110. Notebook Words Room bust, visitors, Amenophis V (plaque) Study Question: location (Barret County) Wait until Day 6 to unlock night vision. Record a video of the trihorn deers at night and send it to the hunters via chat. The next night they will kill all of the deer. Then they will send you a trophy head worth $130. Optionally record a video of the night of the slaughter and send it to ShockTV for an additional $75. Waiting until after the deer are dead does not work. Blackmail the drivers and they will send you $25 every day. Tell him to surrender to the police. This increases your morality. They will turn themselves in but later escape. Send a video of the truck to ShockTV and get $135. This causes Kimberly Pegg's group to murder him. Schedule 0:00 Loco Trucker appears randomly Study Question: name of the company (Sweet Prudence) Send El Dinamitero (alcohol) to her address via ProOwl Mart on two separate days. She will die in a car accident, but if you call her on the third day (she will sound extremely drunk) you can ask for a $200 settlement claim. Schedule 10:00 Customer calls NOTE: LIMITED TIME TO SAVE HIM Study Question: name of the building (Treasure Tower) He survives 6 days. On the 3rd and 6th day he will sleep the whole night. You only need to watch him on the second night (undying love) to save him. Start watching at 23:00 or you might miss some dialogue. The most important parts are the romance novel and "Corsairs." Call Jason's wife and prove to her that you are a friend by telling her that he likes romance novels. Tell her that you know where he is and respond truthfully (secret organization). She will hang up and a lawyer will call you back. Accept the lawyer's offer of $300 to be silent. Jason will die and you will lose a ton of morality. Decline the lawyer's offer and the wife will call later and send you Mr. Cannonball which is worth $120. You will also gain morality. Schedule 23:00 Waking up Study Question: name (Leslie Dooley) Record her when she is taking photos and send the video to ShockTV for $75. She will be arrested. Report the sneaked photos to Ashley Applegate's manager. If you tell him to search the attic you will get three autographed photos worth $160. This raises your morality. If you give the incorrect information then you will get a single photo worth $120. Call Ashley Applegate's manager and ask about the driver (Wonder Driver). Use this to find the driver's chat ID. Blackmail the driver by sending her a video of her taking photos. Make sure that you don't mention the attic. Ask for the nudes which are worth $195. Ask for free limousine rides. This reduces the time it takes to go to the store to 10 minutes instead of 60. Ask for money. She will send you $16-$20 every day ("Ton of money" gives the most).
