Your fish continually swim, grow to adulthood, and produce currency while you use other apps or play other games. Variant Hunting Strategy: To earn the Variant Mastery achievements, you only need to discover 100% of the color/pattern variants for one species within each rarity tier. Fish grow passively over time while the game is running. Nine achievements reward obtaining fish at specific star ratings (from ★★★ up to ★★★★★) inside the higher rarity tiers. Each pops the instant a qualifying fish enters your inventory. ★★★ Rare Fish Collector * How to obtain: Obtain a ★★★ (3-Star) Rare fish through breeding or merging. Every fish species has a set of visual color/pattern variants. You unlock these trophies by discovering 100% of the variants for at least one fish species belonging to each rarity grade (Common to Mythic). Common Fish Variant Mastery * How to obtain: Own at least one Common fish species with 100% of its variants discovered. Tied to the in-game export feature. Note that Community Market trading is not required—only internal exports count. Fish Trader * How to obtain: Export fish from the in-game Trade Hub 3 times.
