CQC Slit an enemy's throat When in melee range of an enemy, hold down B/◯ to grab them and hold them (make sure to keep the left stick centered while in the initial grab animation or else you will slam them). Then press Y/△. CQC Slam a guard and knock him out When in melee range of an enemy, hold down B/◯ while moving the left stick in any direction. One way to do this is to crouch with the knife equipped and go in first person mode to stab him to death. Use a knife to remove a bullet Available after unlocking the cure menu by completing the Virtuous Mission. Sometimes after getting shot, the bullet will get lodged in Snake, open the cure menu in the survival viewer and cure the bullet wound. Defeat The Pain Unmissable achievement, bzzzz. Blow up a munitions shed with TNT Plant and detonate TNT inside a munitions shed, there are many of them in the game. Read the "The Early End" achievement guide below for an easy way to get this one. ↓ Kill The End before the boss battle After killing The Pain you will have to swim across a river, at the end of the river there are two paths, make sure you take the left one first, which will take you to Ponizovje West. Here you will find a munitions shed with an SVD and TNT in it. After you are done looting the munitions shed blow it up using the TNT to get the "Just Because" achievement. After you have the SVD, go back to the river you originally came from and take the other path. After the cutscene finishes use the SVD to headshot the grandpa in the wheelchair. I recommend saving here and loading after killing him as killing him now blocks you from getting some future achievements and good loot, as well as a great boss fight. Poison a guard Capture any of the following venomous animals alive and then equip it as a weapon in your backpack. Press X/◻ to throw it at an enemy. Note that this will count as a kill if you are doing a non-lethal run. Catch a Tsuchinoko (mythical serpent) There are many places you can catch a Tsuchinoko, I recommend Svyatogoryj South. You will need at least one mousetrap. When you enter Svyatogoryj South from the warehouse walk up the hill a little bit and place your mousetrap(s) in the tall grass. Go back in the warehouse then right back to check on your mousetrap(s). If you didn't catch it just repeat this until you do. Here is a video showing how to do it: Sneak up on The End and hold him up Be sneaky and get right behind The End without him noticing, then point your weapon at him and he should surrender. Keep your weapon pointed at him and he will eventually drop you the Moss uniform which is needed for the "A Good Man Is Hard to Find" achievement. ↓ Achieve a camouflage index of 100% First, make sure you complete the "You Snooze, You Lose" achievement, which is right above. With the Moss uniform and Woodland face paint equipped you can get a 100% camouflage index by laying down in most places in Sokrovenno (The End boss fight area). Defeat The End Unmissable achievement, do you hear me, snake? Defeat The Fury Unmissable achievement, I see the Earth... Defeat The Sorrow Unmissable achievement, did you know that you can see The Sorrow's corpse after you are thrown off the bridge by The Boss if you look to the left during the cutscene? Obtain the Infinity Face Paint Make sure you had the Tsuchinoko (ALIVE!) by doing the "Believe It or Not" achievement (scroll up) when getting tortured by Volgin and losing your items. After you get your items back from Eva from behind the waterfall, go back outside to the waterfall zone and walk straight, there will be a tree on your left with the Tsuchinoko slithering beside it. Capture it again non-lethally and keep it for the rest of the game. You will unlock the infinity face paint for NG+ once you finish the game. Defeat Volgin Unmissable achievement, kuwabara kuwabara. Defeat Shagohod Unmissable achievement, who's afraid of a little thunder? Defeat The Boss Unmissable achievement. One must die and one must live. No victory, no defeat.
