Customers will pay up to 120% of list price for a figure. (Take the price and multiply by 1.2.) If you see a complaint, lower the price by about $0.05 Advanced-grade figures are significantly more expensive than Basic-grade figures. Premium-grade figures are significantly more expensive than Advanced-grade figures. Only stock one grade of any figure. Customers will not look for a specific grade of a given figure; they will buy whatever grade you happen to stock. Small and Medium figure sets, which have six members each, will take up two rectangle, corner, or circle shelves (3 slots each shelf). Large figure sets, which have five members each, do not fit perfectly on any shelf or set of shelves. Medium printers can also print Small figures. Large printers can also print Small and Medium figures. Epic printers can only print Epic figures. They are NOT an upgrade from Large printers; they are their own separate thing. Small, Medium, and Large printers all take exactly the same amount of floor space. You can uncheck the "Work Status" boxes for your Stock Clerks and Printer Operators in the Hiring menu on your PC to tell them not to work. This can be very useful when rearranging shelves etc and you don't want them blindly filling stuff until you're done. Decorations and fancier shelves can rapidly raise your store's Popularity, allowing access to more items. These are things that I have found to be useful or advisable, but do NOT take them as absolutes. Always verify and experiment. This is YOUR store; make it your own. It is very hard to fail in this game as long as you're a tiny bit patient in waiting for money to flow in. So, in roughly chronological order: Put your first filament shelf between your PC and the stack of bins. It fits perfectly. Hire a cashier AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Hire as many Stock Clerks as you can. You only need one Printer Operator. (When you're rolling in money, hire the other two for the achievement, but you really don't need them.) Leave the stocking and the production to your employees as soon as possible. Be sure that stock shelf slots are auto-fill enabled (green looping arrows icon) so the AI will make stuff for them and stock it. Keep two slots (i.e. one shelf) of each Small, Medium, and Large size figure ready in the warehouse. If you follow the previous point, you will need seventeen (17) stock shelves. Upgrade to Advanced, then to Premium grade figures as soon as possible. Don't buy more Basic and Advanced filament than will actually fit on your shelves. This makes it quicker to upgrade, since you'll want to work through your stock of filament to empty shelves before you swap out printers to the next grade. (Don't worry about it for size upgrades once you get to Premium grade.) From your Basic-Small printer, upgrade to Advanced-Small, then to Premium-Small. From there, upgrade to Premium-Medium then Premium-Large. Go for four (4) printers while you're only doing Small figures, then upgrade to 8 as you start producing Medium and then Large figures. There is a perfect amount of space on the inner wall of the warehouse for 8 printers, happily enough. Once you have a full set of 8 Large-Advanced printers going and you have deployed all Small, Medium, and Large figures only then think about Epic figures. Dedicate a full Epic Stock Shelf (6 slots) to each Epic figure. Keeping epic figures in stock is an absolute pain in the neck unless you keep a deep stock of them. Buy and deploy as many Epic printers as you can possibly cram into the warehouse BEFORE you buy any licenses. This lets you make a large initial production run for each figure all at once.
