Credits 7. Special Thanks 8. Disclaimer Rage-o-Rama! for Carmageddon 3: TDR2000 is not an officially endorsed pack and is not supported by Torus Games or SCi. This pack is a bundle of community creations and official DLC content and general TDR improvements all in one. Without the talent and help of many Carma community members, this wouldn't have been possible. The pack contains the very best add-ons, tracks, fixes, and tweaks available online. This is a full game and will be seperate from your Steam installation of TDR2000. Rage-o-Rama! only works properly on the UK Blood version of TDR2000. You do not need the Steam version of TDR2000 to play. Install it for free below. Click here to download the Carmageddon TDR2000: Rage-o-Rama! addon pack. [drive.google.com] ATTENTION !! Currently, I am aware the link is down. I am in works of a new 2.0 update with more vehicles, some balance tweaks, and even new maps to play on. Stay tuned! This is a full game and does not require any real installation besides some tweaking to the game settings using the TDRLauncher . If you have other add-ons installed, this may interfere with them, so be cautious and make backups of your TDR if you are merging add-ons! If you want your Steam version of TDR to be this mod pack, then go to "steamapps/common/Carmageddon TDR2000" and delete everything inside this folder, replacing it with what's inside of the modded Carma folder. To uninstall, simply delete the contents of the folder and verify integrity of game cache on the Steam game settings for TDR2000. Right-click on "TDR2000.exe" and make a shortcut for your desktop or somewhere else to keep. On the actual shortcut, go to the properties and under the target file path, add "-f" to the very end of it. This will make the game launch in full texture resolution mode. For Steam, just add "-f" to the advanced launch options for TDR2000. (Thank Toshiba-3 for that bit of know-how.) Open "TDRLauncher.exe" in the Carma folder and let it profile your system. Updated 3D-card presets are included so it could take longer for profiling to complete, but there’s a bigger chance that your card will be detected. If your 3D-card is not present in the list, select the card which is closest related to yours. Make sure you do not pick any resolution higher than 1920x1080 or any hertz above 60. Whether or not you want to run it in a window or fullscreen is up to you. At the next window, click "Setup." Then at the next window, click "Options." A graphics menu should open with the resolutions available. Make sure you're running at x32 and not x16. I usually play at 720 x 480 in fullscreen. Next, click "Advanced" down in the bottom right. Disable "Pixel Fog" and change Mip Filter to "None." After this, press "OK." Vehicles 203 completely new and original community-made and official DLC vehicles arrive to participate in the demolition derby. The 49 base-game vehicles are not without changes either. Some have had their names, textures, and even stats completely re-worked to make the experience better. Big trucks hit harder and small cars go faster. The game is brought to life and the vehicles have more personality with different themes and styles. The first-person camera view for many of the vehicles have been re-done to look and feel much better as well. These vehicles are also a part of the game's progression. As the game goes on, you will get higher tier vehicles in races. Bigger trucks and tanks appear in late stages and all can be bought when wasted, along with cool and wacky vehicles only unlockable as prizes for beating the campaign. Levels The environments from the official "Nosebleed Pack" from Torus Games have been added on top of the vanilla content. And now, a whole 23 years later, brand new community-made levels have also finally come out for TDR2000, bringing new environments for you and all your buddies to thrash n' smash it up in. There have been some slight changes made to the environments of TDR2000. Some missions have been slightly altered, and the infamously difficult and annoying "Summer Nuke Fest" was changed entirely to be like "Trucking Hell" from Carmageddon 2. Police have been changed to be more fitting for the world they are in as well. The very final mission has also been tweaked to be more fitting and action-packed! Just a little cherry on top and treat for the very end of your playthrough. The opponent count is now ramped up as the game goes forward, much like in Carmageddon 2, with there being a mere 5 opponents on the first level, going up to a whopping 11 at the end of the game. Time and Money Time and money bonuses for running over peds and crashing into your opponents have been significantly increased. You also start out with more time as well so you don't have to immediately rush to the first checkpoint. One of the biggest TDR talking points is that the time was not enough. Now you can freely explore the environments during races. Unfortunately, the timer still caps at four minutes, but it's negatable as long as you run over a few peds once in a while. Money bonuses for killing peds, crashing cars, and even stunts have also increased too, letting you make good money and have enough to afford upgrades, and plenty to purchase your wasted opponents with. Speaking of, opponents that you waste and APO purchases are all generally cheaper to afford as well. The huge selection of cheaper cars allows you to get more variety in your gameplay. Sound Some sounds have been changed in the game as well. The crash sounds from previous Carmageddon titles make a return, along with lots of new music, improved explosion sounds, brand new sirens, powerup pickup sounds, and checkpoint sounds- the engine sounds of some vehicles have been swapped to be more fitting to the vehicle driven along with new engine sounds from previous Carmageddon titles being added to the game. HUD + Menu The mod's text logo has been added to the main menu. The level backgrounds that were previously unused for levels like Military Zone and The Bridge are now used. The strings for powerups have proper capitalization now and the opponent statuses in the bottom left corner have been re-written and improved as well. The vehicle stats on the left side in the garage are now fully accurate, with two new stats having been added, being "Strength" and "Handling." Top speeds, acceleration, and even the weight has been thoroughly tested and researched to be as accurate as possible. Music I tried to pick music (and a good amount of it) that would fit crashing cars, running people over, and lots of explosions. There are six different tracks you can potentially get while loading a race or mission. These tracks will loop once they are over. With multiple songs in each of the possible six music tracks adding up to 1:42:30 total, they won't get old and annoyingly repetitive anytime soon. These OGG files can be very easily edited if you want to add your own personalized music to the game as well. Here is a YouTube video of the full soundtrack. Track 1 (Plays in the menu and in-game) | 22:42 • Carmageddon - Coastal • Carmageddon - Desert • Carmageddon - Winter Wonderland • Carmageddon - Industrial Track 2 | 18:23 • Twisted Metal 2 - Holland • Twisted Metal 1 - Freeway Free For All • LittleBigPlanet 2 - Batteroo • Twisted Metal: Head On - Big Blue Revisited • Jet Moto - Willpower • Half-Life 2 - Vortal Combat Track 3 | 19:14 • Twisted Metal: Head On - Monaco • Red Asphalt - Wreck • Twisted Metal 2012 - Motorpsycho • Twisted Metal 2012 - Carmageddon • Jet Moto 2 - Slickrock Gorge • Carmageddon Splat Pack - Track 02 Tr
