Quite a bunch of the hidden achievements are related to story progression in the many different modes and cant be missed. They usually unlock after clearing a stage by stepping in the portal at the end. Main Game Guardian Genie Save ScuttleTown! After fighting Wilbur in Tassel Town A Winner is You! Finish the race! After beating the Ammo Baron on Cape Crustacean Hypno Baron's House of Horrors Foil the Dual Barons! After beating the Squid- and Hypno Baron on Hypno Barons Castle Genie Realm Defender Defeat Risky Boots! After beating Risky Boots at Risky's Hideout Risky's Pirate Quest Captain's Orders! Remind everyone who's boss! After defeating Poop Toot as Risky The one true Queen of the Seven Seas! Foil the techno upstart! After defeating Dark Shantae with the friends Costume Modes The achievements for defeating Bosses are split up between the Costume modes Beach Blanket Brawl Soak up the Scuttle Town sun in your swimwear. After defeating Poop Toot in Beach mode A Cut Above Conquer a fishy foe while dressed as a Ninja. After defeating the Gigantic Mermaid in Ninja mode Officer on Duty Wipe someone's criminal record as an Officer of the Law. After defeating Wilbur in Officer mode A Relaxing Ride Soar over Cape Crustacean in your swimwear. After defeating the Ammo Baron in Beach mode Spectral Stopper Enforce curfew as an Officer of the Law. After defeating the Squid and Hypno Baron in Officer mode Ninja vs Pirate Defeat the Pirate Queen, Ninja style! After defeating Risky Boots in Ninja mode Hardcore Mode Old-School, baby! Complete Hard Core Mode! As stated in the description, beat hardcore mode for this one Here come the hard achievements that will take time and dedication to get. I will link video guides and other steam guides to most of them (if i can find them). Theres 4 Endscreens in every gamemode: For beating the game For beating the game with everything collected (100% on the savefile) For beating the game fast For beating the game fast with everything collected The required times for the speedrun endscreens vary between gamemodes. You can check the already elapsed time on the savefile. Ive also timed my own attempts and put up assumptions on times you need to beat in order to get the speedrun endscreens (if someone reading this has exact times please put them in the comments, i will update the guide then to make it more accurate!) Main Game Half-Genie, all Hero! Achieve 100% completion as Shantae! Have everything collected before beating the game. The save file has to show 100% A few tips if youre stuck at 99%: Open every door in the gallery and get the magic tiara from Mayor Scuttlebutt Trade with the Snake saleswoman every alternate dance at least once Have every food item in the pause menu Heres a great guide from Demajen who made detailed maps with all the collectibles in the main game: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1962448555 True Hero! Obtain all win screens in any Shantae Mode! For the speedruns i highly suggest to beat the game normaly first. Take notes on how to progress inbetween different levels (for example write down collectible chains to get a certain key item) For the 100% speedruns you should use the maps from the guide ive listed above. You can also watch glitchless speedruns to get a feeling for it (you can also play alongside while watching the video for the easiest time) The times you need to beat are: 3 hours for the regular speedrun 4 hours for the 100% speedrun Risky's Pirate Quest The Pirate's Curse Achieve 100% completion as Risky Boots! Same as in the main game, learn the locations or watch a video alongside your playthrough. Times to beat are: 1 hour 30 minutes for the regular speedrun 2 hours for the 100% speedrun Friends to the end BFF's Achieve 100% completion as Sky, Bolo, and Rotty! In friends to the end you only have to collect 3 dream squids in every large area, you can get them all from the start so you dont have to backtrack. You can also check/select previous levels from the pause menu if youve missed some. By now you should have the hang of speedrunning shantae! Times to beat are: 1 hour 20 minutes for the regular speedrun (Thanks to Legend Ice for the detailed info!) 1 hour 45 for the 100% speedrun (Thanks to khaosklub for the detailed info!) Costume Modes The costume modes are very similar between each other with their item locations. After playing the game that many times you should know by heart where to look for collectables, ill link guides regardless so dont worry. You're under arrest! Achieve 100% completion as an Officer! The Officer mode differs a bit from Beach and Ninja mode since you have to collect 5 prisoners per area instead of just 3 dream squids. Achieve 100% completion in your bathing suit! Beach mode is probably the worst mode since you need to constantly collect sunscreen bottles or else you lose lifes rapidly as well as your movement speed is slower than usual. I didnt find a guide with pictures so ill link a video: https://youtu.be/UBDhfuZpG6M Full wardrobe Obtain all win screens while playing as Shantae in her Ninja, Beach, and Officer costumes! Probably the most tedious achievement to get on here. Youll need to get all endscreens for all 3 costume modes. Just like in Friends to the end you can collect all squids and prisoners from the start and you dont need to backtrack. You can check and select levels from the pausemenu as well. Times to beat are: Ninja mode: 45 minutes for the regular speedrun 1 hour for the 100% speedrun (thanks to Porculeitor for the detailed info!) Beach mode: 1 hour for the regular speedrun 1 hour 10 minutes for the 100% speedrun (Thanks to Мурыч and Kazz for the detailed info!) Officer mode: 50 minutes for the regular speedrun (thanks to Tim for the detailed info!) 1 hour 10 minutes for the 100% speedrun (Thanks to Chullainn for pointing that out) These are the remaining ones that require some sort of task to get.
