THE TIGER IS HUNGRY The so called tiger Kim Il Sung promises a flawless invasion of the South, but can he truly control the outcome? While America said this country is not part of their interests, history teaches us how often official statements don’t match reality. Supporting North Korea risks provoking U.S. involvement, halting Korean unification and possibly starting a World War. On the other hand, withholding aid will anger Kim, a critical ally on our border. If creating a unified Communist Korea is the goal, destabilizing the South before June is crucial—America is more likely to stay 'disinterested' if their chances appear hopeless. NORTH KOREA INVADES THE SOUTH If you’ve supported North Korea this far, providing the aid needed for reunification seems logical. However, doing so risks U.S. accusations of orchestrating the conflict, possibly leading to direct confrontation—regardless of the fact this was Kim Il Sung’s idea. Another consideration is more pragmatic: a reunified Communist Korea may prove harder to control and maintain. Reflect on how much you’re willing to invest in this bordering ally before making your decision. THE EMPTY CHAIR POLICY Are we still playing hooky? Even if you view the U.N. as mere political theater, using our veto offers a real chance to stop American intervention in Korea and virtually guarantee reunification. Legally, the U.S. must respect our veto, and ignoring it would expose them as violating international law. However, another nation—*cough* 'not' supported by the U.S *cough*.—might intervene to sidestep our vote. Criticism for exercising the veto is inevitable, regardless of the outcome. If we abstain instead, America will surely intervene, but this could be an opportunity to distract them while we expand influence elsewhere, particularly in countries like Turkey, Iran, or Afghanistan, which remain in our sphere. THE KOREAN UNIFICATION Congratulations, Comrade ! Reunifying Korea under socialism is not just a Korean achievement—it is ours! But celebration must not distract us. Our commitment to this small yet vital nation cannot end here. The Americans, humiliated, will seek revenge, and Korea's underdeveloped and mountainous terrain poses challenges. While keeping capitalists out of the North was manageable, the entire peninsula presents risks, as counter-revolutionaries could exploit the landscape to resist. To cement this victory, we must ensure our ally is secure from imperialist aggression. Only then can Korea's triumph pave the way for global socialist victory! SINO SOVIET TREATY OF FRIENDSHIP This decision will shape the global landscape for decades. Funding China aligns with our ideals and provides an immediate boost to our standing. A financially supported China will be capable of managing most internal threats independently, even in the face of U.S. aggression. If you choose to help China reclaim Taiwan, your Chinese ally’s prestige will grow significantly. However, keep in mind that the historical treaty spans 30 years—this is a major commitment and may not be worth it if you don't want to see a strong and stable China emerge. WE MUST PURGE! Among our allies, there may be traitors or misguided individuals who fail to grasp our mission. Loyal comrades stand ready to carry out our purging orders, ensuring the security of the Socialist World. However, a wise leader must carefully balance the principles of Stalinism—too much control or too little could spark spontaneous uprisings. Keep in mind that purges may continue for years within current and future allies, while unfriendly nations will exploit these actions to diminish our reputation. NEST OF SPIES Warning : The fall of the Cambridge Five compromises our intelligence on Western activities and weakens the protection of our sister countries in Europe. To solidify the revolution and secure their safety—and ours—we must act decisively. Options include increased aid, additional troops, forced alignment, or even supporting a coup (discreetly). To prevail, we cannot afford to lose the nations won at such great cost during the Great Patriotic War. WE WOULD NEED A GOOD OLE SCHEME Comrades, take heed! For over 30 years, Great Stalin has been our unwavering guide, but failing to act now risks his loss and the rise of weaker leadership. Addressing the so-called Doctors' Plot may secure control but will undoubtedly draw accusations of anti-Semitism, with comparisons to the genocidal enemy of the Great Patriotic War. This issue becomes especially sensitive if Israel exists, though less so if it does not. Be prepared—further suppression may be necessary to eliminate all remaining threats to the Revolution. THE SECOND GREAT PURGE Comrades, remember your Soviet history! The Great Purge of 1937 that liquidated thousands is about to be repeated. Stalin and his loyalists are preparing to cleanse the Party and society of any potential opposition. This action will force our European allies closer to us and secure their safety, but it risks destroying honest revolutionaries and tarnishing our global image. The world will equate "Soviet" with "dictatorship," further complicating our mission. Moreover, Comrade Stalin, at 74, cannot lead forever—saving him now does not ensure eternal stability. Is another wave of purges truly the best path for socialism, or could too much Stalinism backfire disastrously? BERIA UNLEASHED The world is truly strange! The man who once served as Stalin's enforcer now believes he can bring "democracy" to our country. Allowing Beria to take control will see Stalin’s legacy repeatedly denounced, which is only beneficial if our Stalinism score is dangerously high. Beria will seek peace with the West, reducing their aggression but potentially bringing unpredictable consequences. If, for some strange reason, our hold over Europe is already weakening, we must decisively eliminate this shapeshifter before he undermines everything we’ve built. PEOPLES REVOLT IN EAST GERMANY The end of Stalin has emboldened German malcontents and Western provocateurs, plunging the young DDR into turmoil. Without our support, its government will struggle to restore order. Red Army intervention would stabilize the situation but fuel Western propaganda, while prolonged chaos risks losing East Germany entirely. A reunified, imperialist-aligned Germany would be a catastrophe. If Stalinism is high, limited instability could be tolerable, as funding or coups might later restore control. Under Beria’s leadership, there’s also a chance to disengage from Germany with dignity in a few months. Will you choose immediate action or calculated patience? LET US REUNITE GERMANY Conservative Soviet policymakers staunchly oppose German reunification, yet these terms might not be catastrophic. A neutral, unified Germany could function like a large Switzerland—devoid of American alliances or troops. Analysts predict such a state would remain cordial to both sides, offering opportunities to enhance our influence through funding and trade agreements. However, accepting reunification means the permanent dissolution of the East German state, now under our protection. Can you embrace this potential shift, or will you resist to preserve the DDR? --- Источник: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3373072739
