The higher the prosperity a town has increases the chance for higher quality items to appear in shops and improves the Blacksmith’s chance of crafting higher quality equipment. The primary methods to increase town prosperity is by donating to the town, completing contracts for the town, and ensuring trade wagons reach towns by not being attacked on the roads.
