Life of the Party Make the incorrect party escort submission position decision. • This is a story-related achievement that you will earn during the playthrough. It unlocks after successfully completing Test Chamber 19. You will need to overcome the fiery trial, escape from the burning pit, and make your way onto the escape levels — after that, the achievement will be yours. Heartbreaker Complete Alive & Kicking. • This is a story-related achievement that you will earn during the playthrough. It unlocks once you defeat GLaDOS and complete the game. Unappreciated Business Make a toilet hate you. One of the quickest achievements in the game, obtainable right from the starting area. In the Aperture Science relaxation chamber where you begin, walk over to the toilet. Aim at it and repeatedly press "E" to flush. Keep flushing until you hear a distinct sound and see the lid slam shut — at that point, the achievement is yours. Get Stuck Get stuck. In Test Chamber 05, wait for the exit door to open. Place a blue portal just beyond it, then toss one of the cubes into the orange portal — it will emerge from the blue one and end up behind the door, out of your reach. Once GLaDOS comments on your predicament with her signature line about being "stuck," the achievement will pop. Works without portals too — just hurl the cube behind the door with enough force. Blameless Complete Chamber 16 without knocking over any turrets. A rather tricky achievement that demands patience and a steady hand. You need to clear Test Chamber 16 without tipping a single turret onto its side — if even one hits the floor sideways, it's time to restart the chamber. The strategy is simple: always approach turrets from behind, grab them, and immediately turn them to face the wall. In this position, they're completely harmless yet remain standing upright — exactly what the achievement requires. Use cubes as portable shields to block laser sights while you're repositioning the turrets. If any turret gets knocked over, restart the chamber and try again. Multiverse Explorer Beat all of the levels in the Extras menu. In the main menu, locate the "Extras" button — it grants access to the game's bonus levels. To earn this achievement, you need to complete all the chambers listed there. Important: as of the current version of the game, the only level that actually counts toward progression is the advanced version of Chamber 18 (Chamber 18 Advanced).
