The Ellipse Problem

I couldn't draw the ellipse on the map by following the instructions of Sherlock Holmes or, even, by browsing the videos or images published on the web. A technical glitch?! So I checked the questions on this matter, posted here on Steam and on the web, and I came out with the following: Put the Pencil on the red spot and draw the ellipse as presented on the screenshot.
