Welcome to my Achievement Guide for Thrones of Britannia! This guide provides you a structured overview of all available achievements, sorted by culture & faction. Additionaly there are some general achievements you can unlock with any faction. They are listed in the "General" section. Thrones of Britannia has a total of 137 achievements. Most of them are easy to obtain, but completing the game is quite time-consuming. Most of the achievements are obtained for completing the campaign with the different factions. There are seven different types of victories for each faction: Short Fame Victory This type of victory requires you to collect a certain amount of "fame". You can get fame by special buildings, research and various actions of your characters. Usually you're required to collect 256 Fame for a short victory. Long Fame Voctory This type of victory requires you to collect a certain amount of "fame". You can get fame by special buildings, research and various actions of your characters. Usually you're required to collect 532 Fame for a long victory. Short Kingdom Victory For this type of victory you need to fullfill special requirements, which are specific for each culture (e.g. conquerin certain cities/regions, having a particual ammount of vasalls, conquering a certain number of harbor cities). Long Kingdom Victory For this type of victory you need to fullfill special requirements, which are specific for each culture (e.g. conquerin certain cities/regions, having a particual ammount of vasalls, conquering a certain number of harbor cities). For a long victory you usually have to achieve an appropriate higher number. Short Conquest Victory For this type of victory you need to conquer a certain amount of cities and regions. Long Conquest Victory For this type of victory you need to conquer a certain amount of cities and regions. For long victory this is simply a bigger number. Ultimate Victory After you achieved any type of long victory you will receive an ingame message of a big threat coming to your empire. According to the difficulty you play on this will be one, two or three big fleets of viking armies. Each fleet consists of 5 ships with almost full-stack armies. They will come from each north, south and west and will mainly attack England first. To win an ultimate victory you need to defeat all of these intruders. IMPORTANT: You can continue the campaign after achieving any of these victories. You can also finish all other types of victories in one playthrough. BUT: You can only unlock the achievements for the first type of victory condition you met. Afterwards you can get one type of "Long Victory"- achievement and the "Ultimate victory"- achievement but none of the others. This is quite stupid and i'm not sure if bug or intended. I hope CA will fix it soon. IMPORTANT: It seems there are currently some broken achievements. Any type of "Get a legendary ... " doesn't work right now. Again i hope CA will look into this and fix it. Now have fun hunting achievements. I'm not a native english speaker so please forgive me any grammatical mistake. If you have anything to add or found a mistake, just let me know! Also note this is work in progress, i will continue to update this guide! GENERAL CAMPAIGN ACHIEVEMENTS For all of the following achievements it doesn't matter, which nation you play. It's possible to get them with any nation. Loyalty Without Question Playing as any faction, ensure that every characters loyalty remains above 1 for the entire campaign. Keep up the loyalty of your characters by having a fair split of your estates. Make sure your faction leader does not have too many of them. A Taste for War Playing as any faction, complete the main campaign without reaching -12 war fervour. If you play on one of the lower difficulties this shouldn't be a problem. Keep up your war fervour by winning battles, conquering cities. It will drop if you lose your property or lose battles. Home Is Where the Hearth Is Playing as any faction, complete the main campaign whilst maintaining ownership of your starting regions. You need to keep all of the regions you own at start, not just your capital. No Peace for the Wicked Playing as any faction, complete the main campaign without negotiating peace with any other faction. Just don't accept peace with any nation through your campaign. Traitor's Fate Playing as any faction, destroy another faction after they break your alliance. Try to establish an alliance with as many nations as possible. By conquering the campaign map or attacking nations they like, they will start to lose respect for your nation and eventually attack you. Now you have to destroy the faction by conquering all of their regions. Every Port in a Storm Playing as any faction, own all Longphort and Viking Port buildings on the campaign map. These buildings are mainly at the irish coast. When going for the other achievements like "Conquer all irish regions" this will come naturally. Balance of Power Playing as any faction, complete the main campaign and reach max war fervour. Keep on winning battles and conquering regions. To get this you should play quite agressive since your war fervour decreases each round you don't fight. Fortress Citadels Playing as any faction, own the Rock of Caisil, Mountain Hall, and Offa's Hall buildings on the campaign map. Again this should come in naturally if you are conquering all regions. These three special locations are spread over Ireland and England. Historia Brittonum Playing as any faction, conquer all the cities on Nennius' list. Again this should come in naturally if you are conquering all regions. These three special locations are spread mostly over England. The Feast of All Saints Playing as any faction, own all of the Saints' buildings on the campaign map. Again this should come in naturally if you are conquering all regions. These three special locations are spread over Ireland and England. Against All Odds Playing as any faction, play and win a battle whilst heavily outnumbered. You need to win a battle where you have a way bigger number of soldiers than your enemy. This doesn't work with auto-resolve. I will check if its also possible in a custom battle or just in campaign battles. Speedy Subjugation Playing as any faction, conquer all regions on the campaign map in less than 200 turns. Play on one of the lower difficulties and capture all regions in Thrones of Britannia. It's no problem to get this done in 200 turns. The Knife in the Back Playing as any faction, marry a rival king's daughter and then destroy his faction through conquest. During your campaign your allies might offer you a marriage with their kings daughter. Accept and destroy the faction afterwards by conquering all their regions. Balance of Probabilities Playing as any faction, complete the main campaign, fighting all battles and without losing more than 10 times. Play and win every battle in a short victory. You may lose up to ten. Do not Auto-resolve. Tactician Playing as any faction, achieve a Short victory by fighting and winning every battle. Play and win every battle. Do not auto-resolve. Master Tactician Playing as any faction, achieve a Long victory by fighting and winning every battle. Play and win every battle. Do not auto-resolve. Ultimate Unconquered Playing as any faction, achieve an Ultimate victory by fighting and winning every battle. Play every battle and win it. You mustn't autoresolve battles. Watch out for the intruding armies after you achieved a long victory. Make sure you have garisoned enough troops in any city where they might attack. Keep in mind the vikings might attack with two full stack armies at the same time so you need one or two armies to defend as well. If they cap a minor settlement it doesn't matter but each attack on a major city counts as "battle" so you better don't lose it. You can also try and attack t
