Multiplayer: The Lost Eagle Defeat someone who already has this achievement in any multiplayer battle. This is the only multiplayer achievement (thank "the nailed" god for that!). This will probably be the last achievement I get, as I don't play multiplayer. Update 26/02/2023: My prediction was correct, this is now the only achievement I haven't obtained. Although I will probably attempt to get this achievement at some point, I'm not sure when I'll get round to it. Update 16/02/2025: I finally managed to obtain this achievement (coincidentally almost exactly 2 years after my previous update). War: The Knife in the Back Playing as any faction, marry a rival king's daughter and then destroy his faction through conquest. Tip: Subjegate a marriage Loyalty Without Question Playing as any faction, ensure that every characters loyalty remains above 1 for the entire campaign. Tip: Easy does it Defense Home Is Where the Hearth Is Playing as any faction, complete the main campaign whilst maintaining ownership of your starting regions. Tip: There are a number of achievements that require you to fight every battle during a given campaign. This means no auto-resolve! These achievements are not faction-specific, so you can pick whomever you like for these ones. Any difficulty: Against All Odds Playing as any faction, play and win a battle whilst heavily outnumbered. Tip: Settlement defense There are 3 victory achievements per difficulty level; a short, long, and ultimate victory. Tip: Know thy mechanics The English Kingdoms don't have their own cultural achievement (anymore). A United Front Playing as any of the Gaelic kingdoms, annex all surviving Gaelic factions. Tip: It is possible to do this with Mide The following sections will list the faction specific achievements for each faction. Each section is broken down into 4 category: general achievements, short victory, long victory, ultimate victory. General achievements: Each faction has a 'complete campaign' achievement, and a 'conquer all of' achievement. Some factions have an extra achievement as well. This table lists the area each faction has to conquer. Faction Regions General achievements: Great Scots Playing as Circenn, complete the main campaign by achieving any of their victory conditions. Dublin Down Playing as Dyflin, conquer all Irish regions. Baile Atha Cliath Playing as Dyflin, complete the main campaign, maintaining ownership of Dyflin throughout. Flicker into Fame Playing as Gwined, complete the main campaign by achieving a Short Fame victory. Small But Mighty Playing as Gwined, complete the main campaign by achieving a Short Kingdom victory. Western Alliance Playing as Strat Clut, liberate or ally with all Welsh factions. Tip : In case the Welsh factions are vanquished by the time you get to this achievement, liberating the following factions (- cities ) will unlock this achievement.
