Each character's Core has a maximum of 60 levels and requires an increasing amount of materials to go up levels. Higher Cores gives increased stats, but also supports equipping more flower pieces (Roots, Stems, Leafs, Blossoms) for set bonuses. Each flower piece type has colored attributes (Red, Green, Purple, Blue) where equipping enough of those attributes unlocks a character's set bonuses. Furthermore, each flower piece has 1 - 3 random stat sets that give minor percentage increases in firepower or defenses, and each of those stat sets have random levels and can stack with each other up to a maximum of 6. Each flower piece has a rarity, in GFL2, common is blue and has 2 levels of stat sets, good is purple and has 4 levels, and highest gold quality has 6. Remember this is an endgame grind, so be aware of burnout and engage with this mode only when you have the desire to do so.
