In RF4 not all stats are listed in reels' parameters. Such as their mechanism's load capacity. Therefore the community has to run tests to find out that number. I hope this will be useful. In RF4 30% of your rod blank's, reel friction brake's and mechanism's capacity are wear-free. This means that your current wear applises only to the other 70%. I.E. the component's capacity is 100kg and the wear is 10%. 30kg are wear-free, 10% of 70kg is 7kg, therefore your current component's capacity is 93kg (not 90). Never let your mechanism's capsity get lower than friction brake's. If you frequently lock your brake than don't let it wear below your leader's (or line's if you're fishing without a leader) capacity. Otherwise you may break your reel (or rod, if its load capacity is lower than mechanism's).
