You should probably play on normal. I typically do this on the first map (not the tutorial), but you could probably use any map. Play normally until you get mines. Then place 1-4 of them around the map. It would be even better if you can change the game files to let you start with Mines, or to have the mines spawn in at the start, but if you can't do that, it's fine. The game officially starts when the mines have been placed and you switch weapons. Now, you have to defend. From here on out, it's very simple. Just get as many points as possible while defending the mines. Getting mines again can let you replenish your mines. There are two ways to lose. The first is to run out of mines. When all mines are gone, stop picking up crates and kill yourself (in game, not in real life, I don't want you to die in real life, for you're probably a great person with a bright future to live for). The second is to die from an enemy, which probably isn't new to anybody who isn't a TAS player.
