Welcome fellow Achievement Junkie... At least that's why I'm going to assume you're here! This guide will attempt to solve any confusion you may have over any Achievements in The Binding of Isaac. Basically, it'll tell you the requirements for each Achievement! Sure, all of this information is on the unofficial Isaac Wikia, but not everyone knows about that and being quite the contributor over there I thought it'd be worth bringing the guide over here, with a few changes here and there! :) If you're looking for details regarding a specific achievement, Ctrl+F is your best friend. May 2015: Eternal Achievements! This guide has now been updated with the 15 new Eternal Achievements. Please scroll further down or click "Eternal Achievements" in the contents bar on the right. This guide goes over the fixes available for both Windows and Mac users, so if your game isn't giving you your hard-earned achievements this is the place to look! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=113935171 As I'm sure you're all aware, you can either have The Binding of Isaac (That's to say, the Base Game) or you could have bought the DLC and have the Wrath of the Lamb. Achievements added with that paid DLC are listed further down the page. General Progression Icon Name/Desc After finishing the boss in The Depths 2 the first time, every other time you beat her you'll be taken to a new floor: The Womb. Icon Name/Desc Upon completing The Womb 2 a tenth time, you can enter a new floor: Sheol. Icon Name/Desc To unlock the ability to play as other characters, each of which have different stats and starting items (if any), you need to complete various objectives throughout your time playing The Binding of Isaac. Icon Name/Desc This, obviously, excludes achievements already listed above. We all know what happens when you beat Basement 2's boss! Icon Name/Desc The Eternal achievements are for completing various aspects of the game with "Hard Mode" enabled. Icon Name/Desc To prevent this guide from getting much longer, I have separated the achievements for the Core game from the achievements added in The Wrath of the Lamb DLC.
