The only person able to give a raise would be the branch manager, which would line up with the cat mentioning that Manfred isn't giving her a raise. Cat: Hint: The cat is always on the phone, what job could she be working as? There is also a letter on the boss's table from L. Angst who is asking for a raise. Who asked for a raise? Answer: The cat's name is Laura Angst, as she is the only one who asked for a raise. The only name that starts with L that we have is Laura. Crocodile: Hint: The crocodile mentions he works in the Operating Office. Earlier on, the cat complains to the bear that Frederson should be fired. Answer: His last name isnt Petrovic as he isn't a bus driver, and it's not Sederis because somebody called Rufus Sederis is the employee of the month, and it's not Whitlock because that's the name on the unattended PC. Hence, his last name is Frederson, and his first name is Freddy. Answer: Sophie the giraffe works as a receptionist. The bear is Manfred and he is the Branch Manager. Laura the cat works in Customer Service. The crocodile called Freddy works in the Operating Office. Now, we can exit the main office. For his name we can just use the remaining unused names. Answer: The only name left for us to fill is Rufus Sederis, the employee of the month. Investigation reveals that he's a janitor. Hint 1: There's something going on in the fridge, could that be the reason that someone called the Duck Detective? Hint 2: Who's pawprint is on top of the stolen lunch box? What's written on the note inside the lunchbox? Hint 3: The last blank isn't any of their names. Answer: Laura hired the Duck Detective because his/her lunch was stolen by a co-worker known as the Salami Bandit. We already have all the words to fill in the blanks. We just need to do some deductions to fill in the blanks. The Kitchen Scenario: ___ is planning a ___ ___ ___ for ___. Hint 1: The only blanks that can possibly fill the two purple ones are birthday and party. So who is planning the birthday party? Does the birthday person know about the party?
