Once you have an Idea of a scenario to create, you need to make a map for it. The easiest way to do this is to go to new game and create a new sandbox game. Once you have done this you can free build where you want you scenario to start with everything unlocked and free building. You can add survivors and mess with the world until you get the starting conditions you are happy with. Optionally if you just want a random starting map you can skip the above steps. Next go to where Rekindling is saved on your computer. This is very easy. Simply right click Rekindling and go to manage-> browse local files There is a folder called 'ScenarioWorkspace' here. Click it. You will want to keep your files you work with here. You can go ahead and bring your save game over from your saves folder if you made one earlier. Next copy the file 'ExampleScenario.xml" After you have copied it open the copied file. This file will be your 'script' for your scenario. Give it a name what day you want the game to start on (can be decimal to start half way through a day or at night) and the link to the map file. Next up you need to setup the events you want to happen in you scenario with triggers. Right now you can trigger events when a certain day happens or when you reach a certain number of survivors. More triggers and events will be added as the game is updated. The example file has plenty of comments to help you make your triggers as well as some examples. Once you feel happy with your scenario open Rekindling back up. Go to the scenarios menu and click Create Scenario. You will open a file picker, pick the .xml file you were just editing. Once you pick it the game will start generating your scenario. The game will freeze for a minute as this does this, don't panic that means it is working. When it is complete you will see it appear as a selectable, scenario on your scenario list! You can click it to load into your newly created scenario to make sure everything works as you intended it to. When you are happy with this you can now upload it to the Steam workshop for others to try out. Click the upload button next to your scenario and it will go to the Steam Workshop! Additionally. You can change your display image you would like on your workshop icon by replacing 'previewImg.png' in the ScenarioWorkspace folder with whatever you would like to be the display image! Excited to see what scenarios you guys come up with. Good luck. --- Источник: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1971482226
