Spoilers ahead!!! Coins for starter money: Everyday multiple lucky coins spawn inside the well in front of the elephant. They make up quite some nice money to invest into your plant imperium. With the Trading Skill "Lady Luck" you can get up to 35$ extra per day. Keep the day for the timed stuff: Every night from 11PM the game process basically stagnates. Plants stop growing, dishes won't cook and no new orders will be genereated. This is the perfect time for restocking your shop, fullfilling orders you got over the day and do large building, decorating or seeding sessions as long as your energy level allowes. The night lasts until you go to bed. The Shop and the NPCs to hand in orders are available during that time. So keep the daytime to do all the cooking and taking care of and harevst plants. Plan your finances: From time to time you will get bills for electricty and water. Check the Bills section of the tablets Bank tab regulary so you won't get surprised by your money vanishing. Use lamps for light: Some plants (eg onions) will only grow in very bright rooms. To handle this need just get a desk lamp (the small round one) and put it on an elevated surface (eg a small table). Keep in mind that lights will be automatically turned off at the beginning of a new day so you need to turn them on again. Use the vacuum cleaner: You can save quite some time picking up the bio mass created by weeding and derooting plants. Instead of picking up everything piece by piece just go through all the plants first and then use the vacuum to quickly pick up all the biomass around you and turn it to compost as soon as you unlock the composter. Buy seeds when they're cheap: The prices for seeds vary through the Month. In winter all seeds are much more expensive than in spring and summer. They'll be cheapest in July.
