Unlike some other games, you do not have to download maps into your steam folder Navigate to your documents folder, here's my path as an example: C:\Users\[YOUR NAME HERE]\Documents\Kohan2\data\Maps\ and then simply paste the .RMP file inside Once you've done that, you can host a multiplayer match or go into single player "custom" mode, then click the icon that looks like a file folder labeled "Select a Scenario Map". Hard mode includes direct attacks on you and your teammates' capitals by Rhaksha and Impossible difficulty AI opponents, while normal mode is more laid back, with no direct Rhaksha attacks, less nests and Hard difficulty AI. Choosing normal mode will give each player 2 villages to start with, and remove some lairs from the map. Choosing hard mode will give each player only 1 village, as per usual, and spawn in some extra lairs.
