7 Billion Humans is the game that proves one thing: even in a world with seven billion workers, absolutely none of them listen. It’s a puzzle game disguised as a corporate nightmare, where your employees follow your instructions exactly which is great until you realize your instructions were terrible. It’s essential for the Steam community because it teaches valuable real‑world lessons, like: Programming is basically telling someone to do something obvious and watching them do it wrong anyway “Why are you walking in circles?” is a valid management question If your code breaks, it’s definitely the workers’ fault, not yours Every level is a mix of logic, chaos, and “I swear this worked five seconds ago.” It’s hilarious, surprisingly educational, and occasionally humbling when your brilliant plan turns into a conga line of confused office drones. If you enjoy puzzles, automation, dark humor, or yelling “NO, NOT THAT WAY!” at tiny block people, this game is a must have.

A creative way to visualize programming, but definitely not beginner-friendly. First, I have to give this game some credit: it really does a great job of turning programming concepts into a visual puzzle game. You get exposed to concepts like if/else conditions, loops, concurrency, variables, event handlers, binary digits, pointers, and optimization / Big O notation through the puzzles. However, I honestly wouldn’t recommend this game to someone with absolutely no programming background. I have some programming experience myself, and even then, I could only barely grind my way through to the final levels (not counting some of the optimization challenges and branches I skipped). The learning curve gets very steep, very quickly. There isn’t enough teaching, demonstration, or even helpful hints to properly bridge the gap between one level and the next. Compared to its predecessor, Human Resource Machine, this game is much harder. Even if you completely ignore optimization, some of the puzzles are already extremely difficult. And once you start trying to optimize your solutions, things can get even more complicated. The other issue is that the gameplay can become pretty tedious. A lot of the time, it feels less like solving an interesting programming puzzle and more like repeatedly tweaking code until you somehow get the right result. The inability to copy and paste parts of your code is also incredibly frustrating, especially when you have a large program and just want to reuse a section of it. And honestly, if your goal is to learn programming through this game, I wouldn’t recommend it. You might recognize some programming concepts, but learning actual programming directly is probably going to be much easier and more structured. That said, if you already enjoy programming and are actively learning or working with it, this can still be a fun puzzle game to mess around with in your free time. Just don’t expect it to actually teach you programming from scratch. Interesting concept, clever implementation, but the difficulty curve and lack of guidance make it much less accessible than Human Resource Machine.

Eu odeio todas as 7 bilhões de pessoas O jogo é interessante e, de fato, ele te auxilia a aprender lógica de programação e algoritmos. Porém, quanto maior o nível, mais você vai xingar esses bonecos burros que não conseguem seguir ordens simples. No mais, conforme você vai avançando, ele vai aumentando a dificuldade de acordo com o que você aprende.

If you wanna learn how to code in a cute little quirky, slightly nihilistic version of the world play this game! Really cute and I love the guys behind this game company (Little Inferno is one of my all time fav games) so give it a go, but beware... you are learning something if you try this and coding is SUPER frustrating.
