Got the game for co op, co op doesn't work. if your good with that then its a great single player, but the co op tag shouldn't be on the game.

Cool game at first, but then you get to mission 70 which is literally a copy paste of the other 70 missions and it just gets boring. It's still fun I'm just not beating it,

Aragami 2 is a good but a little different sequel to the first one. Story takes place 100 years after the first one. To me this one was more controller friendly than the first one. Also its a fast stealth than the first game. You can play COOP and has plenty of content in the game. Was happy to play and finish. Would look forward to Aragami 3 or something similar in the future.

TLDR: While it's somewhat of a big departure from its predecessor, it's still, IMO, an overall better experience and an overall better game. Aragami 2 is a blast in multiplayer (as of Sept. 2026 the servers still work). Leveling up allows you to learn new spells which tend to make the game a lot easier and it is almost necessary later in the game. While the focus is obviously stealth, when sh!t hits the fan, the game isn't absolute garbage, compared to the first one where it was basically an instant game over. Story: As an Aragami, attempt to discover where you're from and if there's a way to claim your humanity back. Aragamis are summoned beings that tend to lose themselves over time, so it's a race against the clock for them lil' Aragamis. Will you be able to save the village that took you in? In the end the story isn't really captivating and, again, the fun is in the gameplay.... Seems like I write this in all my reviews. Gameplay: In the first entry, it was always one hit, one kill. Both ways. In Aragami 2, you can still assassinate everything in one hit, but if you get busted, you can fight back. Sure, it's an overly simple combat system, but it's still better than being one shotted. It involves... Get ready for this... Swinging like crazy and parrying when you're about to get hit! WHOOAAAA NELLY! You can also block but that's for sissies. It's often a better option to run away and scream PARKOUR to your coop bud. Running, warping to a ledge, rolling and blocking incoming attacks all costs stamina. When you're out of it, you're basically a punching bag with very little health. Stamina is probably your greatest enemy in the game, learn to manage it efficiently early on to avoid issues. Remember, jumping costs no stamina! You can only die twice in any level before it restarts it from the beginning. Missions are replayable, it's useful if you're missed a collectable or need more money (later lvs earn you much more money, so don't grind that dough early on). Leveling up gets you points that you can spend in very useful passive & action skills. They are all very useful. You can respecc, it just costs in game currency. You can customise your appearance to reveal your inner ninja tastes! You can play the whole campaign in coop (past the tutorial of course), it's a blast and I highly recommend it while the servers are still up (the company is bankrupt so.... enjoy it while you can). Graphics: Much better than the original title, but still a little underwhelming. There are a few graphical bugs, and more annoyingly so, enemies can sometimes phase and attack through walls. This sounds like it's really bad mostly because, well, it is. Surprinsingly, though, you eventually learn to work with it. Audio: It's chill and I liked it. I remember the music going something like this: ''You got caught AGAIN?! Are you actively trying to get caught? Oh Jesus, they're after me now!!!''. It was great relaxing music apart from the lyrics (for those that haven't gotten the hint, I'm not the best ninja and I was playing coop). But yeah, it's nothing amazing, but it fits. The hub (town), is chill, and the pacing of the game fits the music. I had a lot more fun playing Aragami 2 than the first and it's a damn shame that the studio closed, because we need more games like these.

Yes, I would definitely recommend this game. The stealth is fun, The story is pretty good (barring retcons), and the tools and abilities are fun. What's not to love?

Mechanically this is an awesome game. The combat and audio design are great. Stealth mechanics are pretty good as well, but it isn't anything like Thief. The stealth mechanics are fairly simple until you get to the later stages of the game and unlock a bunch of the more interesting skills. I think there is so much potential here. Sadly, it's way too repetitive and drawn out. Maps are repeatedly used over and over again but with different missions. It seems like a lot was added to this game to stretch it out. It would have been much better if it had a 10 mission story mode with all of the highlights condensed into one campaign and along with that story more some sort of procedural mode with leader boards. Maybe even an online PvP or side quest queue for those who wish to collect things. Some missions are nonsensical filler and interrupt plot lines. This game really needed more time in the oven. This would be a way better game if maps weren't reused so often, filler missions were cut, the environment was more polished, and more features/gamemodes were added. The optimization isn't great, either. I am able to run it with my hardware at 200% render scale but only at 60FPS. It doesn't tap into my CPU or GPU that much. Usage is low and performance is low. For consoles or power saving devices this type of hardware allocation is fine, but not so much for desktop computers. There was no hitching or stutters, just frame dips depending on the map. I'm happy I got to play it, but I probably won't return to it. Huge potential to be a 10. Unfortunately, it's about a 5/10.

This game is AWESOME! I love it, it is a difficult game but if you master it you will be a master at every other game but what i like about this one more than the 1rst is because we can fight head on one. but good game.
