Excellent game! runs at 120FPS on a potato. I've never played a movement game before but I really like it (even if I suck at it so far.) The devlogs are great too I highly recommend watching those to understand where the dev was inspired and how they made their game.

Bloodthief - очередная жертва моих импульсивных покупок на распродажах стима. Купил, забыл что она существует, а когда вспомнил, оказалось что мне не очень то и интересно. Уверен, что игра найдет своего игрока, просто мне она не зашла. Особенно любителям ультракилла, чем то она на неё похожа. Пора прекращать "закупаться" на распродажах стима.

I love this game. However, it does not let me play the game. What I mean is that after a certain point, the game gatekeeps new levels from you. To unlock them, you must replay the levels you have already completed to look for secrets or to reset over and over again until you make few enough mistakes to get a better completion time. Why is this in the game? I understand that some people really enjoy the speedrunning aspect of the game. After all, the movement is really slick! However, for a casual like me, it sucked because I don't enjoy replaying old content, even for the purpose of improving my time. The worst part is that there is no reason to enforce mandatory speedrunning into the game and it made the experience very annoying for me. While it is fine to incentivize speedrunning, forcing it is artificially reducing the appeal the game has to a broader audience, myself included. If this aspect changes in the future, I would totally come back and play the rest of the game all the way through, since I really do like the game, just hate that I have to do chores before I can play it.

The game is good. However, I would not recommend it for casuals or people with skill issue like me. After a certain point, the game starts gatekeeping new levels behind progression requirements. To unlock them, you have to 'level up' by replaying levels you've already completed, and either search for secrets or repeatedly resetting until you get a good enough time. Boy is the time tough for me, I feel like dying even once can get you locked out of bronze medal, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bronze medal. I just wanna woosh through the levels at my own pace but apparently my pace isn't good enough for the developer so I cant play the rest of his game. Like I said, I've got skill issue. I can enjoy a difficult game, but I really dislike being forced to replay previous levels just to meet a certain time or hunt for secrets in order to progress. I'm the kind of person who would rather spend an hour trying to beat a difficult level than spend 20 minutes repeatedly restarting an earlier level to improve my score. I know some people enjoy that kind of challenge, but aren't timers and secrets supposed to be optional? I really thought I would love this game since I enjoy ULTRAKILL and parkour games, but something just didn't click with me here. Maybe it's the instant deaths, the tight platforming from the very beginning, or maybe I simply needed more time to get into it. Unfortunately, since the game literally blocked me from accessing further content until I improved my performance, I felt like I wasn't given enough time to actually fall in love with the game. Like I said, this review is mostly for casuals and people with skill issues. If you're good at fast-paced platforming and don't mind having to replay levels to meet progression requirements, you might still want to give it a try.

its a blast the adrenaline the joy when you get a god killer medal the fun in finding secrets i have no doubt in my mind that i regret buying this full price runs smooth on my rtx 5060 also massive support to the dev this game so PEAK!!!

好玩，但是有点太难了、不是很休闲。 挫败感和成就感都会比较强。很多地方需要背板和反复练习。 不推荐给所有人，但推荐给有一定练习耐心的玩家。（比如你特别热衷于在魂游里和某个boss卯一个下午） （别看好评率这么高，我敢打赌大多数人只是觉得游戏很好玩，但很多人真不一定会坚持）
