Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary is a decent DLC, it has some fun main missions with new mutated enemies and soldiers to fight in environments much more detailed compared to the base game, the story is decently engaging with its main villain having some interesting backstory, but it has some notable drawbacks. Its main new environmental hazard of toxic gas pockets is a complete non threat because you can always easily get out of their range, the extra detail on the levels also means they're very small with frequent load zones between them, the main story overuses cutscenes that stall gameplay more often than I'd like, and the balancing is off. Because the maximum level for the DLC is 38 unless you play on Ultimate Vault Hunter mode, if you play it as the last major quest of the game like the story wants you to you will likely be easily overlevelled for it and find no real challenge besides the incredibly annoying raid boss. But most importantly the DLC is incredibly short. It has 7 main missions 13 side missions but these are all very quick to get through, with my co-op partners I was able to beat the entire main story and almost all of the side content in just 3 hours. And that's why I can't recommend this DLC, the price is ridiculous. I got it for free, which it was for its first month of release, but now it not only costs more than the other DLC packs (which it doesn't deserve to) but it's almost the same price as the entire main game or the Season Pass (which contains all 4 previous DLC campaigns and the Ultimate Vault Hunter pack)*. A 3 hour DLC does not come even remotely close to being worth as much as a game or DLC series collectively worth tens, hundreds or thousands of hours, it comes off as incredibly greedy. So if you can get it on the cheap and love BL2, sure, go for it, it's pretty fun for a bit, but without a steep discount, forget it. *at time of writing the DLC is £11.99, the base game/season pass are £19.99 each, other story DLCs are £8.99 each in my region, this may somewhat vary depending on your store area
