Having spent sixteen years driving a transit bus, I find Bus Bound offers a solid foundation for simulation. To truly mirror the real-world depth of the job, the game needs a few key adjustments: a ticket system should be added to create meaningful passenger interaction, and the traffic AI needs to be more unpredictable with abrupt crosswalk crossings and unexpected vehicle maneuvers. Procedures for wheelchair boarding should also be included. Beyond that, climate control requests based on the weather would enhance passenger realism, and adding online multiplayer features alongside AI buses running routes in singleplayer would flesh out the world. Finally, random mechanical breakdowns and unexpected route detours would require players to navigate challenges, yielding to emergency etc Also, just to gently ensure the developers are aware, there's an issue where pedestrians can sometimes walk directly through buses, which would greatly improve immersion if addressed.

it's hard to put into words but a recent bus sim that doesn't crash every hour and runs butter smooth no frame drop even on a aging system like mine of i9 9900k RX7900XT and 32gb 3200mhz ram I would recommend this game over even omsi 2

The game has stutters that are constant every 2s, I cant play that. Games old enough to not have these issues but EVERYONE wants to make UE5 slop, and ofc all of the other UE5 issues are present too, optimization is bad, fps is bad, changing settings DOES NOTHIHNG. honestly just sklp UE5 games...

I'll be brutally honest, bus bound as a concept and as most of the game is actually well pulled off. Yes, the road infrastructure leaves some very annoying spots (Examples include: The stop turn at Church of all saints and most stop turns in new heights) that can hammer you in the concept of not being late over 30 seconds in some stops, yes, the framerate tends to affect the buses, as in makes them slower (really my only proper complaint), and yes, it may not fit some people's niches, but i'm an admirer of concepts in games, and man does this one not dissapoint. I've been a fan of this game since about the very first demo, just because of the fact that the way you progress is less of a grind and more of just how well you can drive a bus. And mostly it is exactly that: yes, the traffic is sometimes questionable, ironically it usually being the older pickups in the AI traffic, but besides that, it really doesn't have too much of a problem being good if you can play your optimisation cards right. And the funny thing is that the UE5 stutter really doesn't impact me much, since you just have to get used to your computer being a sh*tbox when it comes to running certain games to not care about it. The bus selection is definetly a plus for this game, as each bus is rather unique in how it looks and also tends to drive. My favorite bit about this game though HAS to be the UI. Simple, easily understandable, and with actually readable "fake" mirrors that appear when you're turn signalling. Overall though? I'd reccomend this. Definetly a fresh breath of air out of both the UE5 slop and the transportation slop.

I love this game. It's fun with minimal amount of thinking needed. The areas are beautiful and the districts have distinctive feelings. The areas don't seem empty when driving thru The not so good: -AI traffic behavior -When stopping at bus stops at times even if you have your directionals, they don't care -Sometimes the AI creates bottlenecks were there doesn't need to be (like at construction sites closing a lane) or even though the AI on a particular street has the right of way, they stop anyway. -Some minor stuttering and freezes though luckily, I haven't been booted -The only drive (pun intended) is to open up the present district, upgrade it and open up other areas. Other than that- nothing else to do concerning your company. Though this isn't necessarily a bad thing. Just can get somewhat boring -outside your headquarters, is boring and empty. You'd think a vibrant bus company and/or new business would have more animation outside - Wish the buildings didn't look like cardboard style. Would love to see the buildings with feeling and full of life while driving by

the gameplay loop is pretty nice however the model fidelity of the busses needs a complete rework they are on par with alot of phone games.... from like 2017 that is . which leaves tones to be desired . the fact of the matter there arent realistic seating or even a mechanic to clean up the bus after your trip leaves so much to be desired not to mention the models look like they was made to run on a phone and or rushed . not to mention ive seen roblox games YES ROBLOX GAMES with higher model fidelity and accuracy . and i would know , im a frequent user of Newflyer and sometimes NOVA busses aswell . and the fact that this game doesnt even have a NOVA bus is shocking as in many citys (Take mine for example Newyork) There are a decent size of Nova busses to the point that atleast once or twice a shift you can see a Nova on certian Routes like the B46 ,M15 , M15SBS and even alot of routes up in Queens aswell.

As others I really wanted to like this game but is umplayable the lag every second tried everything to make it run but runs very poorly lag every second umplayable the developers don't care about the community try to get it fixed but no answer and there other people for weeks with the same problem and no one has reach out to them in discord after making the complaint. the game would be great if they fixed the sttuter and lag but not taking a chance!! refund it.
