Having Steins;Gate as my favorite anime of all time, the Science Adventure series has always piqued my interest. However, I never got around to playing any of the games, as the visual novel format was always a bit of a pushback for me. I enjoy reading, but the idea of visual novels having countless routes where every decision could completely change the outcome was honestly intimidating. When I saw the entire Science Adventure series at 80% off, though, I finally decided to give it a try and bought its first entry, CHAOS;HEAD NOAH. Now, after completing all of its routes and endings, I can happily say I made the right decision, as CHAOS;HEAD is one of the best stories I've ever read. Compared to Steins;Gate, CHAOS;HEAD is a story almost completely focused on its protagonist. While the other characters, especially Rimi, are important, Nishijou Takumi is without a doubt what the entire game revolves around. Thanks to its first-person narration, you spend around 30 hours inside his head, reading practically every thought that passes through it. Nishijou Takumi is probably the most self-centered, selfish, misogynistic incel I've ever had the pleasure of reading, yet with all of his faults, I somehow can't find it in myself to hold any resentment towards him. His questionable thoughts are pushed even further by the Delusion Trigger, the game's main mechanic, which lets you choose between positive, neutral or negative delusions during certain situations. These can go from Takumi's sexual fantasies to his most paranoid thoughts and some extremely gruesome violence. Beyond being entertaining, the system is a great way of showing how Takumi actually sees the world and even serves as a surprisingly effective tool for foreshadowing. I really enjoyed seeing the fantasies of this deranged protagonist come to life: when I was angry at him I could give him a negative one, and when he was having a particularly hard time I could give him a positive one to appease him. In a weird way, it helped me balance my own emotions towards the character. CHAOS;HEAD's pacing is definitely slow and uneven, but I think it works extremely well for this particular story. Takumi is paranoid and wants nothing to do with what is happening around him, so whenever something could move the plot forward, his first instinct is usually to run away and isolate himself. Yet the story doesn't really stop there. Instead, his paranoia grows, his personal theories evolve and the game gives you little crumbs of information to keep you guessing. The New Generation Madness murders are at the center of this mystery: who is killing these people? What is actually happening behind the scenes? Who is Shogun? Just when you think you have something figured out, the game loves throwing another curveball at you, and just when Takumi thinks he has successfully escaped from everything, something outside of his control drags him right back into the plot. The atmosphere surrounding all of this is extremely well done. CHAOS;HEAD spends a surprising amount of time without music, and that silence helps immerse you in its Shibuya and Takumi's paranoia. With such an unreliable protagonist and the Delusion Trigger constantly playing with your perception, distinguishing reality from delusion becomes increasingly difficult. The New Gen murders themselves are grotesque and disturbing, and one particular route contains one of the most disturbing things I've ever read. When this game gets dark, it gets extremely dark. Its horror is less about directly scaring you and more about paranoia, uncertainty and never being completely sure of what is real. To fully enjoy the game, I think you need to accept Nishijou Takumi for who he is. That doesn't mean agreeing with his actions or thoughts, but accepting why he behaves the way he does and understanding that he is an extremely flawed person who genuinely hates himself. After experiencing the entire game, I found it much easier to put myself in his shoes. What I particularly enjoyed is that the story never tries to magically transform him into a different person. He begins to acknowledge the flaws in how he sees himself and the world, but fundamentally he is still Takumi, just someone finally trying to do better. At least, that's what I took away from his character, and by the end I had learned to accept him as he is. My main criticism would be the supporting cast. While Takumi is extremely fleshed out, I personally found the cast less developed compared to Steins;Gate. This makes sense considering Takumi deliberately distances himself from practically everyone, but as a reader I still found it lacking. Thankfully, the character routes help considerably and ended up being much more enjoyable to complete than I expected. Sena's was my favorite in terms of plot revelations, while Rimi's was easily my favorite from a character perspective, with one of the best backstories I've read. Nanami's also deserves a shoutout for being incredibly disturbing while fitting the game's themes extremely well. Kozue's was probably the weakest for me; I liked what happened and its ending, but even after her own route I didn't find her as fleshed out as the others. Completing all nine endings also completely changed one of my biggest fears about visual novels. Thanks to the skip feature and the simple way of accessing the different routes through the Delusion Trigger, I never felt like I was replaying the entire game just to see something new. More importantly, the routes actually matter, providing additional context and information that makes earlier details suddenly click into place. CHAOS;HEAD ultimately changed my perspective on visual novels as a medium. I've always enjoyed reading, and I now see them as a really interesting mix between books, manga and anime: you get the introspection of a book, the visual presentation of a manga, and the voice acting and music of an anime. CHAOS;HEAD especially benefits from this. Being trapped inside Takumi's head is necessary to experience this story to its fullest, and after finishing it I can understand why adapting it into an anime would be so difficult. Take away his constant internal narration, the Delusion Trigger and the additional routes, and you lose a huge part of what makes the story work. Overall, CHAOS;HEAD NOAH was an incredibly pleasant surprise. It's much darker and grittier than what I was used to from Steins;Gate, and some parts are definitely hard to stomach, but it showed me an entirely different side of the Science Adventure series and completely changed my perspective on visual novels. What started as me simply taking advantage of an 80% discount ended with me completing all nine endings and considering CHAOS;HEAD one of the best stories I've ever read. A great first entry into the Science Adventure series, and now I really can't wait to experience Steins;Gate again, this time in its original format.

ОЧЕНЬ МЕГА КРАТКИЙ РАССКАЗ СЮЖЕТА Вы крч клон наруто(Сёгуна) созданный им чтобы продолжить за него доживать тк оригинал умирает и вы Такуми(хикан отбитый зад в рот) проживаете год думая что живете 16 лет и потом (КАК НЕОЖИДАННО И ИНТЕРЕСНО) инцидент в СИБУЕ (А где же ещё то) вы понимаете что видели какую то сстранную смерть какие то клинки какие то ножи оказывается вы стенд-юзер(гигаломаньяк) и можете с помощью своей шизы получать суперсилы(ты такой воображлянькаешь и призываешь какую то физ материю в реал лайф) и 6 баб с которыми ты общаешься тоже гигалодoлбaeбки (как неожиданно для гаремной новеллы) и вот после 20 часов нытья главного героя вы идёте спасать мир спасаете мир и всё хэппи энд(да бл это всё чтоли) Не эт супер кратко а если по делу то тут всякие корпорации нозоми какие то дебилы детективы которые никак не могут 1 с другим совместить какие то анимешные шизоиды вся новелла чистая анимешная попса начала нулевых много телок главный герой отбитый овощь который вечно ноет и вокруг него тяныч которые настрадавшись получили способности свои у одной мамаша роскомнадзорнулась на другу капля воды капала и она тронулась у третье друг сам главный герой умирал и она силы пробудила и тд. С одной стороны уникальная новелла смесь научной xyйни в которой толком нормально тебе в новелле не обьяснят и суперсил призыва каких то способностей опять же для тех КТО ЖИВЁТ В СИБУЕ(да врата штейна и всякие роботик нотс тоже в этой же xyйне находятся) и новелла представляет из себя кашу тупорылого гаремника чего то научного чего то суперкрутого с суперсилами призывашками очередной силой любви и мотивашкой крч Одним челам зайдет такая хрень другие челы просто с первых 5 часов сразу выпилятся потому что их заколебет что главный герой ОВОЩЬ (на самом деле) если сёгун умирающий овощь просто доживает свою жизнь в своём манямирке то его копия за которую мы играем она ОВОЩЬ в плане социума.Да все увидят частично в лице гг себя самих но опять же блть Как всегда гарем можно сразу выпиливаться,как всегда учёные из ОМЭРЫКИ(а где же ещё умнейшие люди живут которые даже форточку не умеют открывать),конечно же СИБУЯ(у нас вся жизнь в сибуе проходит) Просто мега дефолтная хрень я не знаю почему её прям так нахваливают даже на то время 2008 год это не было каким то супер ноухау да была часть интересных фишек но опять же с учетом сколько тайтлов создано было УЖЕ НА ТО ВРЕМЯ можно было бы спокойно ЛУЧШЕ создать новеллу без это отсебятины где гг воображает кекс с любой пенсией(ДА ДА ДА главный герой отбитый фетишист и воображает любые фетиши с бабами) и вот это ОООООЧЕНЬ поганит ощущение от новеллы как будто ты не играешь во что более обдуманное как врата штейна(это следующая игра в серии) а в какую то очередную гаремную ХРЕНЬ от которой только плеваться хочется.И вроде бы думаешь ну блин должно же быть лучше.Лучше становится к середине но к концовке ОЧЕРЕДНАЯ XУETA.Очередное невнятно раскрытое понятие страдания какого фига тогда не каждый второй гигалогaндoн(опять подростки с суперсилами) почему очередная корпорация дебилов не обдумала вопрос сохранения начальства и поставила на руководство полоумных старперов без вооруженной армии если их спансирует само государство.То есть весь этот бред ОЧЕНЬ отталкивает от прочтения новеллы я советую что сделать: 1-посмотреть аниме(тогда будет понятно захотите вы эту хрень читать или нет) 2-пропустить начальный шизобред и дойти по сюжету до альтушки(дальше уже интереснее будет) 3-если вы ещё не окрепший умом чел ну читать и кайфовать от обнаженки(ЫХЫХЫХ ДА) потому что лол если бы я не глянул аниме я бы вообще из всей этой хрени ничего не понял бы новелла СУПЕР ОТТАЛКИВАЮЩАЯ она не заинтересует вас повторно её читать она просто каша какая то из гoвнa и мочи и тут нашинковали такого что даже сами авторы не вдупляют что они вообще написали. крч случай как с араки сенсеем если ты владелец гера почему какой то гей негр уничтожил вселенную.Тут так же все НЕ ПОНЯТНО. Бл мне вот тяжело этой игре положительную оценку ставить но и отрицательную не хочется ставить 6-7 баллов из 10 где то так

セールで660円で購入 全実績解除　セーブが消える等のレビューがありましたが、自分の場合は特にバグ等はなく普通にプレイできました。 そこまで多くはないが文章が冗長な部分もあり読むのが少し辛い場面もありました。 のっけから少し長く感じる部分もありましたが、後半はかなり引き込まれました。 目を見張る展開もあり、どうなっていくんだろうとワクワクしながら読み進めました。 だれもが怪しくみえてきて ゾクゾクしてきますし れんぞくするじけんの真相を追いながら のぞきこむように物語を読みすすめ 目をうたがうてんかいにおどろかされました 1週目はルート固定で２週目からBエンドと個別ルートに行けるようになります。 ↓以下おすすめルート↓ 自分は七海→優愛→あやせ→こずぴぃ→セナ→梨深　4人順不同で最後にセナ→梨深がおすすめ その目だれの目？

STEINS;GATEが代表作の科学ADVシリーズの１作目。 １作目ではあるが、シリーズ特有の日常が徐々に侵食されていく話の進め方は変わらず健在。 2008年の作品のため、システムやキャラデザにやや古さを感じるがストーリーがそれを補って余りあるので問題なし。 問題点はストーリーの面白さが終盤に集中していて、それまでがやや退屈になりがちになるところ。 ストーリーは間違いなく面白いので、途中で脱落しないようにまとまったプレイ時間を確保してから始めるのが良いでしょう。 クリア時間２０～２５時間　評価８.５/１０

What started off as a slow murder mystery with a very unlikeable protagonist eventually becomes something so beautiful. If you have the patience to make it through the first chapters you will not be dissapointed. (use CoZ patch aswell)

先打的混沌子再来玩前作，相比之下差距过大。 虽然作为开山作有一定的重要性，但各种配角的塑造太苍白无力了，也没什么记忆点。 意外的前面区一般的男主可以接受，但最后的最后突然莫名其妙醒悟这种果然还是接受不能。
