Lovable characters, beautiful art style/atmosphere, and an OST that bangs so hard you might as well buy the game for it alone. While it definitely presents a different challenge from other titles, the gameplay is pretty forgiving so it couldn't be any more perfect as a baby's first deckbuilder roguelike. Really, really hoping that the devs return with more content in the future. I don't think there is any other deckbuilder more slept on than this.

One of the most fun deckbuilders I've ever played. it might be my favorite one? it would at least be a close race. Having all of your cards tied to moves that your ship actually does, and having them all feel like they have a physical tangible effect you keep track of in a physical plane in the game, and not just abstract numbers is one of my favorite takes on the genre. the dialogue was actually really good! I was expecting to maybe not like it in the first few minutes, but after i got enough interaction I completely flipped to wishing more games sounded like this, since this is way a lot of people i know talk. and the personalities are well written, and the jokes often land for me. i really liked the way you discover more about the story and characters too.

Engaging; entertaining; compelling Some make comparisons to FTL, I don't find it too similar. This game doesn't smash two games together in a creatively bankrupt way. There are several elements at play that make this game unique and compelling in the roguelike deckbuilder genre. While there isn't a massive quantity of enemies, the ones that are present are all rather unique, not many fights really feel like filler encounters, or some overcomplicated gimmicky mess (if any at all). The limited enemy roster is complimented by the unique array of potential 'builds' one can create, due to the pick three crew system. As for non inherently gameplay related elements, it excels in all regards. The writing makes attempts at witty remarks in a way that does not encourage eyerolls-- to put it simply, it's good. Learning of characters' stories was a compelling reward for finishing runs successfully. The music is very, very good. I smile every time I hear a track from this game. Both vibrant and adventurous, but driven and appropriate given the contexts they appear. The visual style is good. The intro cinematic with flashing imagery was especially compelling.

perhaps I'm biased- this is a one-way node-traversing deck-building roguelite... with distinctive characters, fun writing and a really striking soundtrack. when I heard a Minecraft video use one of its tracks, the whole game came rushing back to me and I knew I had to finally give it my recommendation

I don’t like deckbuilder or roguelike games. But I still gave this a try, and I absolutely love it. 9/10. Gameplay is fun and diverse with 8 characters that have unique card types/playstyles and 5 different ships. Choose 3 characters and a ship for each run, resulting in 280 different loadouts, and even more diversity based on card selection, artifacts, etc. Music is great, artwork is pixel-based but well-done, and the characters, even many of the enemy NPCs, have very distinct personalities and I love them. The over-arching story gradually reveals itself over dozens of different play-throughs, as do the individual character’s stories. The only thing it lacks is character voice-acting.

重复度极高而且特别看脸。每个船员牌少的同时还难抓关键牌。因为三选一是每个船员给一张还有重复刷新。想给差评的，还是算了，打4折入将就玩 永动机+校准器是真无限 运转太拉了，一张多余的牌都不能抓 还有一个问题是图鉴只记录抓了的牌，但是一局只能抓三四张最关键的，搞得我现在打了十几个小时图鉴都是大半空缺

I'm the sort who usually only gives negative reviews. Good game, had alot of fun with it. Not perfectly balanced but it offers enough options that you aren't trapped into one meta. The characters are fun, the story is good. Hoping to see this game get a follow up even if it's not another roguelike... (roguelite?)
