Construction Simulator 2015
In Construction Simulator 2015 , you take the controls of 16 realistic construction machines made by LIEBHERR , STILL and MAN with high-quality 3D graphics.
Excavate the foundation of a house with realistic machines, pour concrete into the wall panels of a factory with an enormous concrete pump, or test the steadiness of your hands by placing gigantic roof trusses with a mobile crane. Thanks to the realistic controls, you can steer an excavator with two joysticks using SAE controls and feel as if you are working on a real construction site.
Discover the world on your own or with your friends!
Explore an expansive, freely navigable world with various towns, fields, and even a highway – you will find a variety of new challenges for your constantly growing motor pool. If you are successful, then even larger and more lucrative jobs and various office locations with even more possibilities will beckon.
Work is more fun with friends, and construction is no exception. Operate vehicles with friends in multiplayer mode, and complete construction missions together or just play around in the wide-open game world.
Up to four workers can participate in multiplayer games. The player who opens the game serves as the host and takes the lead role in running a construction company shared by the other players in a cooperative game.
Many tasks are waiting for you!
In a single game, you can work together to accomplish construction tasks. Dig pits together using multiple excavators, while another player transports the excavated material to a gravel plant. In an advanced game, you can work on up to three construction sites at one time and really start raking in money with your construction company.
Are 200 working stages in over 150 different missions not enough for you? The Construction Simulator 2015 offers plenty of opportunities to integrate your own vehicles and construction sites into the game. You can use the developer’s own Construction Kit to shape your own worlds and create your own game content.
You can of course also share your mods with the wider community of fans through Steamworks or on fan sites. This way, a huge community of players can access an endless and varied supply of user-created content.
The barrier to entry into the world of modding is not particularly high – all you really need is a 3D graphics program like 3ds max or Maya as well as the free version of Unity3D. Features:
Over 200 missions ensure hours of enjoyment
16 realistic construction machines made by LIEBHERR, MAN and STILL
Realistic vehicle controls – e.g. SAE controls for excavators supported
Realistic sound effects recorded from the original machines
Multiplayer mode
For beginners and pros: freely switch between arcade and pro controls

Construction Simulator 2015 is an appealing heavy-machinery simulation built around the satisfaction of taking an empty construction site and gradually turning it into something complete. Developed by weltenbauer. Software Entwicklung GmbH and published by astragon Entertainment, the game focuses less on abstract construction management and more on physically performing the work. Excavating foundations, transporting materials, pouring concrete, operating cranes, and maneuvering specialized vehicles form the heart of the experience. Even years after its original release, the straightforward concept remains enjoyable for anyone fascinated by construction equipment or slower, task-oriented simulators. The selection of machinery is one of the game's biggest attractions. There are 16 realistic construction machines based on equipment from manufacturers such as LIEBHERR, MAN, and STILL. Different vehicles have specific purposes rather than behaving like interchangeable tools. Excavators require careful manipulation of their moving components, while cranes demand patience when lifting and positioning large objects. Concrete machinery, trucks, forklifts, and other equipment expand the range of jobs. The game even supports SAE-style excavator controls, giving enthusiasts an opportunity to approach the machinery in a more authentic way. Players who prefer accessibility can instead use simpler controls, making the experience welcoming without completely sacrificing its simulation qualities. There is plenty of work available. The game contains more than 200 working stages spread across over 150 missions, complemented by a dynamic mission system. Tasks range from relatively straightforward transportation and excavation jobs to larger projects involving several stages and different machines. Progression provides an effective incentive to keep accepting contracts. Successful work earns money and experience, allowing the construction company to expand its vehicle fleet, reach additional office locations, unlock special missions, and pursue more profitable assignments. This gradual movement from modest jobs toward a larger construction operation gives the repetitive physical tasks a stronger sense of purpose. The open environment contributes considerably to the atmosphere. Instead of jumping exclusively between isolated construction areas, players can travel through a freely explorable world containing towns, fields, highways, dealers, suppliers, and other locations. Driving a truck or piece of heavy equipment between destinations can be slow, but that deliberate pace fits the nature of the simulation. The world is not exceptionally detailed by modern standards, yet it creates the convincing impression that the construction company operates within a broader region rather than a collection of disconnected levels. Cooperative multiplayer is another notable strength. Up to four players can work together under one construction company, with the host managing the main operation. This arrangement works especially well because construction naturally lends itself to dividing responsibilities. One player can excavate soil while another transports it, or different workers can handle machinery at separate locations. More advanced companies can have as many as three construction sites active simultaneously. Coordinating multiple machines with friends transforms jobs that can occasionally feel repetitive in single-player into considerably more social and entertaining activities. Modding gives the game additional longevity. Steam Workshop integration and the supplied Construction Kit allow community creators to develop vehicles and construction sites. Creating sophisticated content requires outside tools and some technical knowledge, so casual players should not expect effortless creation, but the system nevertheless adds another layer beyond the built-in missions. Steam achievements, Workshop functionality, Steam Cloud, trading cards, and other supporting features make the PC version feel reasonably complete despite its age. Visually, the game now clearly belongs to an earlier generation of simulation titles. Vehicle models remain recognizable and functional, but environmental textures, lighting, character presentation, animations, and general scenery can appear basic beside modern construction games. Fortunately, graphical spectacle is not the main reason to play. The machinery is readable enough for precise operation, and the recorded equipment sounds help strengthen the industrial atmosphere. Hearing engines, hydraulics, and machinery working while carrying out a complicated job provides more immersion than the aging visuals might initially suggest. Repetition is the biggest concern. Digging, driving, loading, unloading, lifting, and positioning objects inevitably recur across many contracts. Players who enjoy methodical routines may find this relaxing, while those expecting constant variety could become tired of the structure. Some machinery can also feel cumbersome until its controls become familiar. The detailed tutorial helps significantly, and being able to switch between arcade and professional control schemes lets players determine how demanding they want the experience to be. Steam Deck compatibility is officially rated Playable rather than Verified. The game's default graphics settings perform well on the handheld, but the experience has several compromises. Certain functions may require the touchscreen, virtual keyboard, or an alternative controller configuration, some prompts can display non-Steam Deck controller or keyboard and mouse icons, and some interface text may be small. Entering text can also require manually opening the virtual keyboard. It is therefore usable as a portable construction simulator, but players should expect occasional control and interface inconveniences. Construction Simulator 2015 ultimately succeeds because it captures the strangely satisfying rhythm of operating heavy equipment and completing practical jobs one stage at a time. Its age is apparent, and repetition prevents it from being universally appealing, but the substantial mission selection, varied machinery, company progression, cooperative multiplayer, explorable environment, realistic control options, and modding support provide a surprising amount of content. For players who enjoy deliberate simulation games and have an interest in construction machinery, it remains a worthwhile older entry in the genre. Rating: 8/10

The game is riddled with bugs that make it almost unplayable. For instance, the mission descriptions and explanations are jumbled, while the small excavator itself is a disaster in its own right.
