Delightfully cozy game with surprising depth to its gameplay and worldbuilding. Plays like Golf Story, old school FIFA Career Mode, and Untitled Goose Game combined. Genuinely hilarious dialogue and art too, with unexpectedly scathing satires of the real-life modern football world. Hard to believe it's a solo dev project really. So impressed. A++

Fun, casual football game reminiscent of Sensible Soccer (which is a very good thing). Perfect on the Steam Deck too.

Got this in a bundle, and honestly was not expecting it to be this good. I love football games, and I honestly feel like this is one of the best that there are around if you can move away from the big EAFC, eFootball and so on. This game is easy to pick on, has a nice story mode with good writing, and has some replayability value, considering that you can also customize the database however you want (also with the steam workshop). Bang Average Football has its downsides too, though: the gameplay can get a bit repetitive, for some reasons passes do not lock on players for long enough to allow for the receiver to actually get the ball, and the story mode despite being nice can get boring, and it is only a story in the sense that there is a plot behind it, but there is no way to improve your players over the seasons apart from your own character (which will get OP probably too soon). Overall, though, I definetly recommend you to pick up this game if you are looking for something that can scratch the itch for a nice football game.

Really enjoyable little football game. Easy enough to pick up and play in small bursts (excellent for the Steam Deck!)

Bang Average Football Jogabilidade: ★★★★★ Visual: ★★★★☆ Imersão: ★★★★☆ Conteúdo: ★★★★★ Polimento: ★★★★☆ Futebol sem tentar ser uma simulação perfeita — e justamente por isso funciona tão bem. As partidas são rápidas, o controle é simples e o modo de evolução adiciona personalidade suficiente para continuar jogando. Tem muito mais charme do que o nome sugere. Veredito: ★★★★☆ — Uma ótima surpresa.

El unico juego de futbol que me hizo sentir que cada partido tenia que dejar la vida para ganar y ascender. El mejor juego de liga del momento, meteria mas equipos por liga en el modo historia pero despues, nada que reclamar. 10/10

Die Steuerung ist irgendwie total frustig weil nur terilweise in die Richtung fliegt in die der Stick zeigt. Der Automatische wechsel der aktiven Spieler sorgt auch ständig für fehlpässe oder versehentliche fouls. Das Spiel macht schon irgenwie bock aber ist trotzdem nicht gut für die Laune. Außerdem ist die Spielzeit zu kurz und die meisten matches enden mit 0 - 0
