After all these years, I’m finally here to share my thoughts on Dark Deception and the terrible job the developers have been doing. I normally don’t write reviews, and I would have genuinely loved to leave a positive review for this game, because I absolutely love it. But I can’t keep overlooking the fact that the developers seem to have completely stopped caring about the game. We’ve been waiting for almost five years for Chapter 5 to be released, while the previous chapters are still in a terrible state, filled with bugs, some of them serious enough to make the game impossible to complete. I understand that this is a small development team. I understand that some things take time. But at this point, things have gone way too far. They keep releasing spin-offs and other games while seemingly not giving a damn about the game that built their entire fanbase in the first place. I’m truly sorry to say this, but I will no longer support or spend money on their games or this development team until Dark Deception is finally completed. I’m sorry, but I’ve completely lost faith in the developers. If anyone at Glowstick reads this review, I promise I will change it the moment you start showing this game the love and attention it deserves again.

I thought *Dark Deception* was just another indie horror game where you run around dark rooms while something chases you. I was wrong. The graphics aren't the most impressive. The gameplay sounds simple. Run, survive, collect shards, and try not to get murdered. Simple, right? Absolutely not. The moment you start being chased, all of that simplicity disappears. Suddenly every hallway matters, every sound makes you nervous, and every mistake feels like it could be your last. The different nightmares are what really make the game memorable. Each one brings its own style, enemies, and mechanics, so it doesn't feel like you're playing the same horror level over and over again. And then there's the atmosphere. The game can go from ridiculous to genuinely terrifying in seconds. One moment you're exploring and wondering what you're supposed to do, and the next you're running for your life while desperately trying to remember where you left a portal. What I love most is that *Dark Deception* understands that horror doesn't always need to be slow. Sometimes the scariest thing in the world is hearing something behind you and realizing you're already running. I've played horror games with better graphics, bigger budgets, and more complicated stories. I don't remember most of them. I'll remember *Dark Deception*. Some horror games make you afraid to turn the lights off. *Dark Deception* makes you afraid to stop running. 100% recommended.

игра хорошая, но ♥♥♥♥♥ багов + разрабы ♥♥♥ гоняют и не выпускают 5 главу 5 лет. зато можно пощекотать свои нервы и разбить клаву с мышкой проходя 4 главу ''маскотное безумие'' на S ранг

Сколько лет уже прошло с момента анонса 5, финальной главы, а кроме одной фотки и страницы в стиме мы больше ничего не получили. Вместо разработки и завершением их главного проекта, разрабы решили делать спинофы по типу Super Dark Deception или плейса в роблоксе с переносом всех глав. Просто взяли и забили на основу, гениальное решение.

Dark Deception Chapter 1 is an absolute masterclass in taking the classic pac-man style formula and turning it into a pulse-pounding, terrifying horror experience. Surviving the maze while being hunted down by those creepy monkey nurses gets your heart racing like crazy, and the retro-inspired fast-paced gameplay keeps you hooked from start to finish. The atmosphere, sound design, and the sheer panic of running for your life make this free first chapter an incredible introduction to the game. Can't wait to dive into the rest!
