So much fun! The Harrier wasn't really my favorite plane but seeing Ground Pounder Sims was the creator and knowing that this was a continuation of the great storyline from Operation Persian Freedom and Cerberus North I had to try it. So worth it! The amount of detail in the kneeboard and mission documents is really impressive. The storyline and characters are believable, the voice acting really brings it to life. and the missions are a diverse mix of day/ night, JTAC directed and targets of opportunity, airfield/FARP, precision and dumb munitions, even a little of air to air so be ready! My only complaint is that it's only 11 missions, other than that great campaign for those who want to test themselves!

A well done campaign for the AV-8B Grade 9/10 Medium to hard difficult in some missions... Not too long missions... Highly detailed ATC, Procedures, Briefings and so on... I just wish they had at least one mission in the Tawara... Missions are fun, different loadouts and the FARPS are cool as well... No bugs, very fun!

i havent been able to play it since purchase dcs has removed the harrier from the steam version. please do not purchase until it is back you cant play it

Probably the best harrier content I've played so far. The JTAC system is great although I did have some issues with my alignment not being perfect on some run ins, even though by all indications I was aligned and within parameters. Minor bug though. All in all, the story was great, lots of great comms for immersion. Really looking forward to playing the partner campaign for the A-10. Also really hoping GP Sims makes more Harrier content

Campaign is very good, but just one thing bother me so far: where is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ IP, as I line up my final attack heading and call in, I have always abort!

Incredible campaign with a very high level of realism. You are one aircraft amongs many. I find the missions quite difficult even tho I'm at 200-300 hours with the AV-8. I play in VR with a 1070Ti (quite low for DCS). I often have significant lag spikes at the start of missions and while flying due to the shear volume of action on the battlefield. I have a strong stomach so I don't mind, still playable. This campaign is a must if you like the AV-8.

November 2023 i just finished the campaign and fit was a good experience with a few flaws. The campaign is, from a technical standpoint, well programmed with many safety triggers and no game breakers. The difficulty spike however is pretty high. You are often confronted with low fuel and ammo against a lot of enemies. I never reached full points and often heard the death cries of the marines below me .... well maybe i am just a terrible pilot. Equipment is often questionable ... MK 20 is a joke right now, pls fix loadout. At least you can change that. In one Mission you are attacked by fixed wing while the cap above you goes passive ... pls fix. 6 out of 10 because of too many frustrating moments

Another excellent campaign by Ground Pounder. It follows the events of the A10 campaign (Operation Persian Freedom, I think ?) and with the same level of quality. (But it is perfectly playable standalone) Gameplay : excellent. Great use of the Harrier's ability to forward-deploy. Travel times are thus shorter than in the A10 campaign. Good use of systems and ammunition and solid procedures that make it a very believable experience. Also, there are a few missions with *lots* of units and things going boom everywhere, makes you feel like part of a very large coalition. Visuals : great attention to detail, like smoking remains from yesterday's mission. FOB Juliet is a work of art. Strong feeling of Fallujah or Helmand campaigns. Sounds : great voiceovers that add to the immersion. Good (optional) dialogues with wingmen. Intense conversations with JTACs in TIC situations. Briefing & Documentation : stellar ! Like in Cerberus North and Persian Freedom, you get a *lot* to read ! Difficulty : average. You have to master the Harrier's systems but there is no crazy Death Star Trench Run mission either. Just support the troops on the ground with fuzed ordnance delivered on target in a timely manner. That will be hard enough !
