The best dino horror game. A classic and absolute steal if you get this on sale for a few bucks. I honestly can't believe this game has not gotten remake treatment yet. If 10 year old me was told by future me he could play this on a handheld like the Steam Deck, he would never believed it.

This is a wonderful game, but I wasn't able to play it for long without constant game breaking bugs. My game kept freezing, anytime my controller would turn off it'd also freeze my game. At one point, my game just went straight to black screen. I had to completely reboot my machine. I don't know how this DRM version of Dino Crisis has an overall positive review. It's straight up ass and unplayable. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Pretty peak once you mod it and shxt This is underrated af and on the same level as Biohazard May as well get the Capcom Classic bundle You won't be disappointed 10/10

Now it works properly after tweaking it, after I had to verify the game integrity. I loved it in high school, just like Resident Evil, RE 2 and 3, it also has tank controls which. The graphics are outdated but it still has its charm, even with corny lines from the team. Still has its jump scares and it being scary (to me it is). Still miss being a teenager, no need to worry about things from chronic pains to tumours being a pain. But thanks Capcom for porting it over, I just hope you remake this game.

amazing game, loved it, really unique puzzles. ran good, even with my super low end laptop. really intense, specially when dinos running at you. loved the Ost too, some were weird but overall amazing soundtracks. i loved this game, I'm hoping to see a new game in the series or get remake. if you love survival horror, puzzle solving, give this game a try.

QUE JOGO DIFÍCIL! Os puzzles são extremamente complicados e, sinceramente, nunca consegui zerar esse jogo quando era criança. Mas, pela honra, quando ele saiu na Steam, eu precisava finalmente terminar essa desgraça, nem que fosse com a ajuda de um detonado. E foi exatamente o que aconteceu KKKKKK. O jogo é muito mal guiado em vários momentos. Você fica perdido dentro das instalações, sem saber para onde ir ou o que precisa fazer para avançar. Muitas vezes, a progressão depende de encontrar um item específico ou descobrir alguma coisa que o jogo não deixa muito clara. Isso acaba tornando a experiência bastante frustrante. Outro detalhe é que o jogo limita bastante a quantidade de itens disponíveis, então você precisa pensar muito bem antes de decidir como lidar com os dinossauros. Nem sempre dá para simplesmente enfrentar tudo o que aparece pela frente, e essa escassez aumenta bastante a dificuldade e a tensão. Além disso, existem escolhas que podem mudar o rumo da história e levar a diferentes finais, o que deixa a experiência mais interessante e dá vontade de explorar outras possibilidades depois de terminar a campanha. Apesar de toda essa dificuldade, a história é meio esquisita em alguns pontos, mas dá para entender e comprar a ideia. A atmosfera de suspense funciona muito bem, e a proposta de enfrentar dinossauros em vez dos tradicionais zumbis dá uma identidade própria ao jogo. No fim, é uma experiência que exige bastante paciência e disposição para ficar perdido. Se você gosta de survival horror clássico, vale a pena dar uma chance. Só esteja preparado para recorrer a um detonado, porque eu duvido que todo mundo consiga terminar isso sem ajuda KKKKKK.

Recently replayed through Resident Evil Series starting with Zero (1/2/3/4 Remakes) up to 8. Enjoyed the romp, saw the classics on Bundle Sale over at Humble Bundle and just jumped in. I used the Mulderland Steam Enhancement pak, no issues with the installer, false positive security check, had the game running in minutes. Note, default game wants to write a registry file that I'd rather not permit. Cons/Issues: I got through probably 3/4 of the game before I started experiencing crashes entering/exiting FMV cutscenes. Google revealed it is a known issue. Turned of FMV and was able to see the only two cutscenes I missed on Google. First time playing the game, missed it and part 2 during their initial runs. Was impressed they used a full 3D engine. I assumed it was the precursor for RE:Code Veronica only to see Part 2 returned to 2D backgrounds. The lack of a file system brings you back to pen and paper, and some of the puzzles were first time experiences for me. Overall a frustrating old school RE1 romp where removing the file system leads to an even more "where do I go now" session. Overall, a great game and would recommend to any fans of the RE series. Two on the other hand...well....

This game used to scare me so much when I was a kid and I could barely get past the first few puzzles. Now I am playing as an adult, I am still scared and struggling with these damn puzzles. 10/10.
