The game is good and very funny especially if you play co-op. You need about 3-4 hours to get to the final boss battle. This is where the bad part starts. Final boss is overpowered and it's impossible to beat him without grind. I had to replay first 3 level for about 12 hours to get 70k$ to spend them on power ups and extra lives. If you don't believe me check steam discussions. Only 15% of players could beat the final boss.

so great to see one of my childhood favourite on steam. One of my top three co-op games ever. First is of course twisted metal, which is not on steam yet

It looks good, sounds great, and it's a fun game until it becomes too hard. Beat'em ups, at least in the arcade, used to be just dumb fun, and the strategy to beat the game is just add more quarters. I got stuck at a particular boss, and when I went to watch a playthrough to help me out, I realized that I was only half way through the game. In a good game I would have been thrilled to find out that I had that much game to go, but in this case I was dreading it, and if that's not a clear sign to quit, I don't know what is.

GOOD This reboot is a really solid Double Dragon game. The gameplay feels great, the skills and powers are fun, and there’s a nice variety of extra weapons. I also really like how you can buy new skills from shops, but the soundtrack is definitely the highlight for me. The game looks okay graphically, but it’s a bit too cartoony. The final boss has a really cool design, but his voice acting is terrible, and his motivation is pretty weak too. Still, overall, it’s a good game.

Don't let my playtime fool you. Before I ever got this game on Steam, I had it long ago on my PS3 and on that I put in at least 50 hours. That's right, I bought it twice. That's how much I liked it and I was willing to buy it again on PC just to be able to play it with a friend on it. So on to the game itself. Great beat 'em up action, very nice art style, and an absolutely killer soundtrack. I've always loved Double Dragon and this is definitely still the best Double Dragon game to date.

Вроде неплохо, но управление пипец какое тормозное, не отзывчивость на нажатия, а анимации, пока он соберется бежать, можно успеть чай заварить, играть невозможно. Оригинальные игры тоже были не особо отзывчивые, но не настолько же.
