The style and feel is a bit off-putting and janky to start with, and the first episode is somewhat generic. It gets MUCH BETTER by episode 2, when the maps become weirder and much more creative, and Episode 3 keeps up the quality. Totally worth sticking with it all the way to the end. Finished it in a respectable 7 hours on second-to-hardest difficulty without caring much for secrets.

Dusk is like if Texas chainsaw massacre, jeepers creepers and David Lynch had a baby and you're the quake ranger guy trying kill all these creepy ass monsters trying to kill you. Absolutely in love with this game

An excellent boomer shooter. Stupidly fast movement, many many enemies to shoot, secrets to find and doors to open. You've got all the usual guns, you can Bunnyhop to your heart's content which is damn near mandatory at times, and all of it with a great retro artstyle and amazing music. There's not much else to say, as it's just an incredible example of its genre. My only complaints are that you lose all of your weapons at the start of each episode, meaning being without them for the majority of each episode, and that I had multiple times where the music just completely cut out, including on the final boss, which kinda ruined the moment. Otherwise though, if you just want a game where you can go fast and shoot bad guys, this is the game for you.

Almost perfect. But, I wish they kept the level complexity from the Episode 1 throughout the entire game. I don't play this type of FPS to feel clever because i made progress only after running around back and forth through the entire level to figure out out where is the damned lever or the button that opens the door which hides the key to open yet another door. I want Serious Sam. I want Painkiller. Still, this is an awesome game.

Quem você esperava no final de tudo isso? Deus? O Diabo, talvez? Não... é apenas... eu. Esse jogo é fenomenal, eu lembro de ter jogado ele anos atrás mas não ter gostado muito pois eu estava cansado de jogar jogos boomer shooter e infelizmente conheci DUSK quando eu já estava cansado de tanto jogo assim, mas recentemente peguei ele novamente e decidi dar uma segunda chance, como eu não me arrependo nem um pouco. Essa obra feita pelo David, que já fez alguns outros jogos de sucesso tipo Gloomwood e Iron Lung, é acho que o primeiro jogo que vou recomendar pra alguém quando a pessoa me perguntar sobre algum boomer shooter bom nos dias de hoje, e eu não falo exagerando. DUSK é simplesmente um jogo maravilhoso em todos os aspectos, desde o design das armas em DUSK HD quanto todos os inimigos e níveis do jogo, todos tem designs legais, reconhecíveis e sons também que dá pra você se preparar antes mesmo de ver eles só por reconhecer o som pelo outro lado da parede, tudo nesse jogo tem bastante identidade. Outra coisa que eu amei desse jogo é a dificuldade dele, por mais que eu tenha jogado na "I Can Take It" (que daria pra dizer que é a Normal/Média) eu tive um pouco de problema em algumas fases pelos inimigos, então o jogo oferece algo bem equilibrado que não é absurdo de fácil mas também não é absurdo de difícil (exceto se você jogar em DUSKMARE, que daí você toma hitkill de qualquer coisa), então até pra mim que sou bem enferrujado pra jogos assim me diverti bastante nesse tempo que joguei. Os secredos também desse jogo são bem tranquilos de se achar, basta as vezes só dar uma inspecionada extra aos seus arredores e tem vezes que nem precisa por estarem na sua frente (literalmente, algumas vezes), mas tem uns que tu ainda precisa fazer umas parada mais complexa tipo ativar alavancas escondidas, achar segredos dentro de segredos e por aí vai, é legal caçar segredo nesse jogo. A atmosfera também é muito boa e tem níveis que até são assustadores de estranhos e escuros tipo a Cripta de Carne, que genuinamente me deixou assustado na primeira vez que joguei, é uma atmosfera que eu adoro e que me deixa doido as vezes pois eu posso virar uma esquina e dar de cada com um bicho que pode me dar um tiro e me matar se eu estiver de vida baixa. Num geral, DUSK é um jogo muito bom, bem divertido e que tem uma boa quantidade de conteúdo pra fazer, tem várias formas diferentes pra você jogar que o jogo te disponibiliza, tem referências, um level design muito bom e eu diria que o preço dele é super justificável por conta de tudo isso, então depois de tudo isso que falei... eu recomendo 100%, ainda mais em promoção que fica R$20!

"Que game excepcionalmente incrível! As ambientações gratificantes, as mecânicas insanas e a flexibilidade do game chegam ao nível do mais incrível. A história é muito boa, por mais que eu não tenha entendido nada; é algo que te faz pensar no que está acontecendo nesse universo de Dusk. Infelizmente, é notável que o reconhecimento desse jogo, pelo menos aqui no Brasil, é mínimo. Injusto, digo pessoalmente. Tenho um carinho imenso pelo jogo, gostei muito. Nota 10/10."
