I had no Idea the story would get so emotional and deep. The story definitely exceeded my expectations. It made me tear up several times. I loved the way the revelations and messages and twist and the ending were handled. A Perfect story and ending forstaying grounded and giving us a very morally grey perspective on what is right and wrong under already bad circumstances. I didn't expect that weight of philosophical dilemas at the end. Most games do not turn out to have such a Non-grand and real stories. Like for example Firewatch where you eventually find out that there was no giant government operation to hide things and silence you. It was just a one guy and his son in bad cicrumstances. Also in What Remains of Edith Finch where you slowly find out that the family really did dangerous things and whether it was a curse or their own carelessness or a bit of both that killed them.. There really wasn't anything supernatural about their deaths. This game also ends with a very real and grounded twist. Maybe there isn't a miraculous power to cure terminal diseases on an island. And Maybe the best we can do for someone is to make them happy and make them die in peace at the right time. Such is life. Life can be cruel, everything isn't always happy. We have to make do with what we got. And that's why I love these types of games and their stories. These mentioned stories build themselves up to be something big only for you to find out the reality is much more human and smaller. and usually sadder. people playing these games usually want a cool mysterious grand reveal and they feel like that was taken away from thme... The way I see it tho, the reveal was that realistically not everything always is magical and kind and grand. again, such is life It's also mostly the mystery that keeps you going. The puzzles alone wouldn't have been enough to keep me going. It's the strange kinda detached setting and set of characters that makes you really wonder where things will go. Sure the dialogues can kinda take their time, but it's usually doing so in order to build up the characters we are feeling for more :) All in all I would recommend this game mainly for the story. So, skip some puzzles if you want to. I personally didn't skip any puzzles and had a pretty good amount of fun with them. The puzzles, soundtrack and art and gameplay were still pretty good, but it is the story that helped elevate the whole experience for me to a Surprising and Real 5/5

Lo de los puzzles solo era un excusa para contar tremenda historia, dos plot twist que definitivamente no me esperaba 8/10 por la historia xd

15/20 – Bon Une belle direction artistique, une bande-son correcte, même si elle devient parfois un peu répétitive, et surtout une histoire vraiment bien ficelée pour un jeu indépendant. Le gameplay, à mi-chemin entre puzzle game et plateforme, reste assez sommaire, mais fonctionne bien. J'ai également apprécié la possibilité de passer un niveau lorsqu'on est vraiment bloqué, ce qui évite de rester coincé sur une énigme pendant trop longtemps. La durée de vie est assez courte, mais malgré tout, l'expérience est belle et laisse quelques réflexions intéressantes derrière elle. Certains passages offrent de vrais moments de lucidité et sont parfois particulièrement touchants. Quelques phrases m'ont notamment marqué : « Prévoir le bonheur de demain force la tristesse d'aujourd'hui. Le seul moment qui existe, c'est maintenant. » « La vérité ne cesse d'être vraie que lorsqu'on découvre que c'est un mensonge. » « Si tu veux etre heureux, comble ceux que tu aimes. » Une petite expérience indé, simple mais bien ficelée, qui mérite d'être découverte. Je recommande !

Cute little jump & run visual novel, the twist is honestly sad and kinda ruined an otherwise nice game. Still, its quite decent for what it is.

Puzzle platformer is the first tag, but it leans VERY heavily into the visual novel side. The story itself is... okay?, puzzles are fairly easy and the platforming is way too basic. Maybe I'm being harsh as it's a cheap and short game, but maybe if it focused on one of those 3 thing it could be a good game, instead it falls short on all of them

El pixel art está bonito la verdad. PERO: - El diseño de las caras de los personajes se me hace un tanto feo además que parece que el 90% del tiempo tuvieran cara de "ugg" -Los diálogos, personalidad de personajes y desarrollo de historia son insulsos y aburridos. -Los puzles y sus mecánicas no son muy entretenidos. Eso si, funciona bien en steamdeck.
