A fun little game that is rather casual all things considered. It doesn't capture the same nostalgia that the original game does but I do like the new mechanics and the added boss battles towards the end (which was a fun twist). I will say that at times the game is unnecessarily frustrating with the way the screen is so close and/or so cluttered that avoiding threats seems impossible. Hit boxes are also extremely unfair at times. Still, it has a decent amount of levels and a few different modes of play. Fun for the price but I do wish there were achievements.

20年前の当時は〇箱を持っている友人がいなくて、誰にも勧められなかった記憶があったが、リリースから20年経った今Steamでこの作品に初めて出会った人はとても幸せだと思います。 ゲームは至ってシンプル。 シナリオもなく海の中に生きる小さな魚が、ひたすら食物連鎖の頂点になるために同じ魚を食べまくるだけというシンプルなゲーム。 それなのになぜここまで中毒性に満ち溢れた魅力ある世界なのか、是非身を以て体験してほしい。
