Fun so far, but it is totally unacceptable to show ads every time the game loads. Every time. I've never played a game that I paid for that showed ads like this. Please stop with the ads!

I really wanted to like this game. One of my favourite gamestyles is the rags to riches simulator, but in this case, it was more of a rags alongside riches kind of game. You can make all the money to purchase every single upgrade and the station will still look downtrodden and disheveled. You'll paint the walls and after about half an hour, you have to paint them again cause the paint doesn't last. There is a mini game for painting walls, selling items, filling the gas, lockpicking cars, repairing cars, and washing cars. All of that would be okay if it weren't for the fact that you can never keep up with the demand in the shop. NPCs will walk in and buy half your stock within minutes. Your warehouse will never hold enough inventory for you to always have a solid back-up plan. The cost of restocking is dramatically higher than the cost of upgrades. Your NPCs will only restock shelves if you have the equivalent items in the warehouse, so they never buy anymore once it's done. If you hire NPCs, they often make mistakes and decrease your popularity and income until they get skilled at what they're doing, but for them to get skilled, it takes ages. The shop gets dirty every time someone walks in, which involves dirty footsteps, live fish, whole bananas, bottles, cans, newspapers. It takes about 3 or 4 items to fill the trashbin inside the shop and that instantly makes it smoke green and brings in an army of flies. Add to that a permanent set of flies over your exterior dumpsters despite them being empty, and the inability to customize anything apart from painting walls or roofs and hanging some decorations. If all of that isn't making you run around like you're being chased by all the minigames, you hit a point where sandstorms start making piles of sand around your station and you have to drive an excavator to remove the sand, go to only one available spot for dumping it, otherwise you'll have a back-up of cars because drivers get angry that the sandpile is blocking their way so they stop dead and wait for you to do something about it. Did I mention the excavator uses gas like there's a leak in the tank, and you have to keep compulsively refilling it at frequencies that defy logic? I'm an achievement hunter. I will typically grind the heck out of a game for the most tedious achievements, and I found this game way too grindy. It's unusual for me to give up. I gave it 22 hours and I'm over it now.

The very first thing it did was show me an ad for another game. The second thing it did was crash my computer.

the game is fine but beware if you buy the game you'll be inundated with news updates about games you haven't purchased nor do you probably care for. during the span of 30 days there was ELEVEN new announcements posted to this game that weren't even about this game and are instead ads for their new game. OH and when you enter the game, the first screen you get is an ad for their new game that you have to physically click off of. it's frustrating and annoying, and if you check the comments on these posts they're all players asking the devs to stop spamming us with stuff we don't care about. only for them to then post the next one later. TLDR: if you're fine with annoying news updates posted to this game about the other games the devs are working on (11 updates posted in one month and every single one was about their new game), and don't mind the ads also in game you have to physically click off of, then this game is for you! if you don't care about their new game and don't want to be spammed with BS, this game is probablyyy NOT for you.

So, the game looks good, it's honestly addictive, and i love theses job simulators. I really want to enjoy the game, but the stutters are killing it for me. Even on my Radeon 9070 XT Sapphire Nitro+ OC 16g,it still freezes and stutters every 5 sec. I played 3h, and honestly hope i can get i refund. If not, I'll try to keep playing, but, man, I really hope the devs fix these stuttering issues. I don't know why devs are so lazy with optimization nowadays. Every game, whether it's indie or triple-A, seems to be so poorly optimized. It's crazy. I'm honestly sick to my stomach.

One of the best simulator games I've played. All the mechanics are simple to understand, but make the game that much more complex and entertaining. I really like the combination of automation and still having to do certain things yourself - I only wish there was a louder cue for dennis, lol.

The game itself is not bad, more well made than a lot of the job simulator games that flood Steam but still has bugs and performance issues in places. Main reason for the negative review is the CONSTANT advertising by the developer - you load the game - ads for their other games all over the launch page. Plus several posts/'announcements' per week that fill the event/announcement feed of your library but they're not actual game updates and they're all just yet more advertising for their other games.

I guess I failed as a gas station owner as the game crashed and booted me off the free weekend. For something released several years ago, I was shocked by the buggy behavior of the game.
