The developer(s) of Greenhouse: Tidy Up! are talented. In a sea of asset-flipped sorting and organising games spat out and shipped as quickly as possible to capitalise on a trend, they've managed to create what I think must be the worst example I've played (so far). There are zero redeeming features to this one. Highlights, or low lights, include: - An array of near-identical plants to sort, all in the exact same plant pots, which makes the satisfying visual discrimination loop of this genre impossible. There isn't any satisfaction to be had here. - An incorrect shelving map that is missing a type of plant/has the wrong name for it, suggesting to me not a whole lot of playtesting was done before shoving this out the door. - Similarly, spelling errors in the menus and poorly-worded descriptions for the skills. - A tedious currency-building loop with many features far more expensive than the value they provide, or features that come too late in the tree to feel useful. - Limited carrying capacity that can't be upgraded much beyond default, leading to an absolute slog of a game. - Zero-effort put into the visuals or environment, especially outside the greenhouse (really, look outside for some terrible textures and broken meshes). As a fan of collectathons with a fairly high tolerance for jank, I wouldn't bother with this one — any price is a price too steep for what you're getting. ETA: Game left on overnight for a long session achievement. You'll get like 3 hours of play tops from this one.

ㅤПрикольна гра! 8/10. Fun game! 8/10. It’s good for a few hours, but I was surprised that the stands weren't in alphabetical order; it was harder to find my way around at first.

No, absolutely not. I will recommend this in no amount. ZERO. The good thing; it looks nice, the greenhouse is visually pleasing, some of the flowers are too. That's it. The variety of the flower species all look the same, so you can't sort by eye, or simply by colour. You will have a tray full of similar-looking plants, with the same colour pots and they will all be a different variety, going into a different spot completely. Even with all skills unlocked this remains bothersome. For someone with dyslexia, this was more like time spent in Hell's playground. I disliked every minute of it. I only kept playing because went to refund, then saw a comment that this could be 100% in a single playthrough ( true) and I thought, okay, you know what. Let's do it. I regret it. Not worth it. Don't. It also feels completely made by AI ( Don't know if it is) But yeah, it feels like the human effort in this ended with typing the prompt. I don't mind AI in general. I do, however mind it if it replaces all human effort.

I was really excited for one of these tidy up games set in a greenhouse. The environment I spend my time in is important to me, and this one was visually appealing. That is about where the enjoyment ended. It is painfully slow, and impossible to find and pick up matching flowers by sight due to the duplicated models across all flower types. for example, the Icy Viola reoccurs 4 times as a cluster, spray, compact, and classic and they all go on different shelves. They all look the same, just a slight size variation. As soon as I could, I ended up using skills to shelve flowers and waiting out the cool downs instead of engaging with any of the items on the floor. Speaking of, the skill tree is one of the worst I've seen where crucial QOL skills like sprinting are hidden behind the unlock of an unrelated skill that is so expensive and useless you wouldn't think to pick it up right away. Not to mention when you unlock the menu makes it seem like you can upgrade skills as they say level 1/3, even though that's now how it works at all. I finished it due to stubborness, but should have quit within 2 hours and requested a refund.

Ive played ALOT of sorting games lately. This one I would say pass on compared to so many that are innovating or providing different experiences. My main problem with this one is that the flowers and pots arent different enough, there is basically 4 if that flower types duplicated 3 times into sub types and they look the same. so you pick up say a tulip and every other tulip including the sub ones look the exact same. I got half way through this one before I stopped playing it cause I was bored at looking at the same 4 flower models. my main suggestions to the devs is expand the power pool, cause they are so baseline and make each set of flowers look different and have different models, like there isnt even roses in this for example.

To have something I think is so important to a games enjoyability makes me unable to recommend these games at the time, but if it's rectified, I'll come back and change my review. I bought this dev team's two new games that came out today as a bundle (Vinyl Store and Greenhouse) bc I was looking forward to two new sorting games that weren't a copy repeat of the same resource packs we've seen so many times, but I'm disappointed about something specific right now... something that's very important to me, and that I'm hoping this dev team will rectify. Please give us rebinding options. (And you may want to add the ability to use controllers - I don't use them, but I've read enough reviews and discussions on sorting games that it seems to be a very important feature needed in a game for accessibility to the wider community.) I have LOADS of sorting games by this point and I rebind all the buttons to have the same actions (with the exception of a few tweaks when a game has more options/abilities that require more buttons). The fact you can't rebind anything at all on either game just feels incredibly lazy to me. As soon as I saw I couldn't rebind any, I immediately quite out of the games and I almost refunded them, but decided to sit on it for a little while to see if the devs add it to the games. If it's added, I'll 100% play both these games and give a more fleshed out review, but as it is, now I'll just have to wait to see if I need to get these games refunded - which I truly hope I don't have to do as I was looking forward to playing them.

The presentation is pleasant enough. The visuals are nice, especially during the sunset hours, and the soundtrack fits the relaxed atmosphere. I also liked the small touch of seeing flowers bloom after completing a shelf. Moments like that provide satisfying feedback and make progress feel rewarding. Unfortunately, the experience started to lose its appeal once I realized how much of the content is repeated. While the greenhouse contains a large number of plants overall, there are only a limited number of unique flower types, with most of the total count coming from heavy duplication. What initially feels like a diverse collection gradually turns into placing the same flowers again and again. The lack of freedom is what hurt the experience the most for me. Pots cannot be arranged however you want within their matching sections. Every plant has a predetermined location, turning organization into a process of following instructions rather than creating your own layout. If you're hoping for a cozy greenhouse experience where you can decorate and organize according to your own preferences, you may be disappointed. There are also a few quality of life issues that make the package feel underdeveloped. Settings are very limited, controller remapping is absent, and the mouse cursor appears on screen when opening menus with a controller. None of these problems are major on their own, but together they contribute to a lack of polish. In the end, the atmosphere is pleasant, but the repetitive content and rigid placement rules outweigh the positives. I wanted more variety and more freedom to organize the greenhouse my own way, and neither was really there. For that reason, I can't recommend it.

The game is ok for a sorting game but liking to sometimes do the sorting manually rather than relying of spells is rather tedious and not fun at all. Having no variety in placing and very similar plants which are very hard to distinguish form one another visually doesnt help. Some positives are that the plants are nice and i specially liked that some changed appearance once they were all placed.
