The game is broken and no longer works on Steam, which is a huge problem for people who only play through Steam and don't have an actual account to use with the external launcher. These guys just took the money from all the Steam users and ran with it without offering a proper solution to the launcher issue. I'm not even able to access the account I've spent a lot of money on. What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME. Also if you are from the Hispanic community, Dave (the main and ONLY developer behind this joke of a game) wants to let you know that he hates you and we are LESS than the 2% of the company's income and the only reason why the brazilian and spanish servers haven't been shut down is because he wanted to so we should kiss his narcissistic ass and not complain about the game. He said it on the OFFICIAL DISCORD. I dont know how Sulake allowed him to say that. NO ONE in the hispanic community wanted to spend a penny in the game after those statements.

Grande jogo... Cresci jogando Habbo Hotel, ter ele aqui na Steam é muito gratificante pra mim, me relembrou da minha conta antiga... Kkkk, bons tempos, até hoje lembro do nick: Nome.Pra.Que?OR Infelizmente o jogo tá meio morto, mas pra questão de nostalgia, relembrar todas aquelas boas conversas com os amigos do Habbo... Me faz refletir e lembrar como aqueles tempos eram bons... Dois amigos que se destacaram mas eu perdi o contado, Excweark e Caveirarhuan, abraço pra vocês... Enfim, muito obrigado Habbo Hotel, por tudo que você me proporcional naquela época, no quesito diversão...

Honestly, after two years of Origins, I don't really see the appeal anymore. The community is so small that it feels like everyone knows everyone, and with that comes a lot of cliques, egos, drama and favoritism. Sometimes it feels like who you know or how well you're liked matters more than what you actually achieve. As a newer or less connected player, it's pretty hard to actually make an impact or feel like your feedback means much. Then there's the game itself. There are still plenty of bugs and issues that have been around for ages, yet it feels like there's always another teaser for some future update instead of fixing what's already there. I'm not saying nothing ever gets fixed, but it gets frustrating when the same problems keep sticking around. The economy doesn't help either. Rares, trading and FOMO seem to take up a huge part of the community, and if you've been around since launch you're already miles ahead in terms of wealth, connections and influence. It can make it pretty difficult for someone new to actually feel involved. And honestly, once the nostalgia wears off, what is there really left? The competitions can get repetitive, the active player base feels smaller than it looks, and a lot of people are just AFK. Add the toxicity and questionable moderation on top of that and it just isn't the same experience I think a lot of people hoped it would be. I wanted to like Origins, but at this point it feels like the nostalgia is doing more of the work than the actual game.

El dinero sólo se consigue con micropagos y los sellos que sí se obtienen haciendo actividades son pocos y tienen usos muy limitados. Por otro lado los servidores están prácticamente abandonados, aunque eso ya no es culpa de los desarrolladores. Entré por pura nostalgia y no estoy seguro de que vuelva a jugarlo.

o jogo já começa pedindo login e depois verificação facial. fiz a verificação normalmente e, mesmo assim, ele simplesmente não iniciou e bugou. motivação zero pra continuar tentando depois disso, principalmente porque eu entrei querendo revisitar algo que gostava tanto na adolescência. nem consegui chegar de verdade na experiência do jogo, porque ele morreu na porta de entrada.

The Steam version lacks a proper fullscreen mode. You can't zoom in or out, making it harder to view rooms and navigate. I'd recommend playing Habbo Hotel through a web browser instead of Steam. The Steam version is a downgrade due to the missing features and no players.
