A deeply interesting world and story that kept me going. Inmost is not a very long game, that's part of the reason I decided to pick it up. On top of that the pixel art was captivating and beautiful to look at. The story was the meat of the matter for me as it kept me engaged and left me wanting more. The gameplay can be slow at times but generally provides an easy to understand path way through puzzle solving and collecting. I would recommend you give it a try if not for the beautiful pixel art and inviting world design then certainly for a heartwarming story with dark undertones.

Amazing game. Huge trigger warning if you are dealing with or are dealing with someone that has a mental illness. It hit hard for me, but that is what I loved that about this game. I do hope they drop a second one covering a different another illness.

You might love this game. I did not. I think the mechanics are fine, and it has unique and interesting aesthetics. I just didn't really like the story. Depending on where you are in life and where you sit philosophically with the issues in the game it might hit different for you. It's heavy, and heavy handed.

I started playing this game to just finish playing ever game in my library but I soon got sucked into the plot and the animations. I love the pve aspects of the knights tale, and the story is just amazing.

A slightly restrained and straightforward puzzle platformer, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The game splits the story between a few different perspectives to keep you figuring out their connections. There's some nice layering going on in that respect, and generally the audio design and animation work is really strong. What didn't work for me was the art direction juxtaposed with the attempt at dealing with such heavy subject matter. The cutesy character design and voice acting ends up making the whole thing feel a bit facetious. Along with heavy-handed moralising on pain and grief within a plot that's trying to assemble a string of convenient misery moments and ends up leaving little to the imagination. I wouldn't normally be so hard on it, but suicide, domestic trauma and bereavement around this kind of suffering requires greater care than what's on display here. As a game, it's relatively decent. Some strong production values. But the story and clumsy presentation of the issues just didn't land for me.

Если вы думаете, что это хоррор - вы ошибаетесь. Эта игра - это лишь инструмент повествования, примененный с должной толикой усердия, понимания и охренительно огромным вниманием к деталям. Поэтому управление топорно, графика монохромна а саундтрек тягучий - всё подчинено определенной цели, через метафору донести мысль, идею. И если у вас достанет упорства и терпения доиграть до конца (а игра в целом пробегается за 3-4 часа), то вы поймёте и оцените подход авторов. И возможно захотите позвонить дорогому вам человеку.
