This was one of the best multiplayer titles of its time, yes multiplayer even though it has a single player mode it was heavily focused on its multiplayer aspect. Sadly these days you cannot play this game that easily not only does it not work well out of the box on modern computers you also need a Novalogic account. The current owners are THQ Nordic and they haven't addressed this issue ever since they bought the rights to this IP and honestly I doubt they'll do anything about it. But afraid not there is still an unofficial method to access the game however it requires you to jump through a lot of hoops before you can get this game to run. But I don't think its worth doing all of that. I cannot recommend this broken version of the game so this one is a thumbs down.

This game was ahead of it's time when it came out. Especially the multiplayer aspect. Sadly, it is no longer supported and the only way to play it as multiplayer is to create a LAN with some friends, and this can be hit and miss with any friends trying to join often being unable to. The single player campaigns are kind of fun merely for nostalgic reasons but unless you have 50+ friends with some technical ability all willing to mess about at the same time, you will not have the original experience. A friend and I got all nostalgic and thought we'd revive our old glory days, however we're both resigned to basicaly wandering around the old maps saying "Remember this place when we...". Honestly, the fact it is no longer supported (I don't think Novalogic is even a thing anymore) makes it pointless and Steam should be ashamed of themselves for selling it.
