Kingdom Rush Frontiers to świetny tower defense i zdecydowanie jedna z najlepszych odsłon całej serii. Proste zasady szybko zamieniają się w naprawdę wymagające kombinowanie z rozmieszczeniem wież, ulepszeniami i odpowiednim wykorzystaniem bohaterów. Ogromnym plusem jest różnorodność przeciwników, map i dostępnych strategii. Kolejne poziomy wprowadzają nowe mechaniki, dzięki czemu rozgrywka długo się nie nudzi, a przejście trudniejszych etapów daje sporo satysfakcji. Kolorowa oprawa, dużo humoru i świetnie dopracowany gameplay. Jeden z tych tower defense'ów, do których naprawdę warto wracać. Zdecydowanie polecam.

Such a classic tower defense game that still holds up really well today. The gameplay is simple to pick up but gets pretty challenging at times, which makes winning even more satisfying. It has that old-school charm that makes you want to keep playing “just one more level”. Definitely worth playing!

Вторая легенда детства, что на флеш плеере имба - что стим версия, отличное продолжение первой части, но чуть сложнее, интереснее и разнообразнее, одна из лучший тдшек в которые я играл.

🍀10/10🍀 I've been a fan of the Kingdom Rush franchise for a very long time, and this game has a special place in my heart. I consider this the best game in the series This review comes from a person who has finished this game multiple times, and has played it since about ~2018. ❗WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW❗ -> ~10h of campaign --- 20-30h of campaign+extra stages -> 3 difficulties, which you can change whenever you want -> All content included in the base game - no DLCs needed -> An external wiki is highly recommended - most stats are not shown in the game The game introduces you to 3 different areas - The Dessert, The Jungle and The Underground which contain a total of 15 stages with the additional 7 aside from the campaign Each stage has 3 different modes: -> Normal | ❤️20 Lives 💀Max 15 waves -> Heroic | ❤️1 Life 💀6 waves -> Iron | ❤️1 Life 💀1 Continous wave This gives us a total number of 66 different challenges included in the game The game has one of the best soundtracks i know. For me, the best part of every kingdom rush game, and the reason i believe it's the most fun tower defense franchise is heroes. The game feels really active with you having to move them around the map. So... what do I think? This game is a classic which I would recommend to all the tower defense fans - BUT to people who are new to this genre, I would recommend something more simple, like BTD6 or PVZ. I'm only saying this because, the game might seem confusing at first, so I wouldn't want to throw you off from this masterpiece . Kingdom Rush Frontiers is a very good sequel. The original set the bar pretty high, so I was a bit afraid that this one wouldn’t live up to it, but fortunately, it did not disappoint. I was also afraid that it would be “more of the same,” and in a sense it was, but in a positive way. You could actually think of it as a continuation of the first game, but set in deserts, jungles, and caves. Gameplay-wise, it is more balanced and less frustrating. The tower types are the same, but the new designs are innovative and fun. It also introduces the ability to upgrade heroes, whose progress carries over between levels, something that was missing big time from the original. For me, another solid 8.5/10. Technical: I found the macOS version terribly laggy... not sure why for such a simple game. I used CrossOver instead, and it ran flawlessly.

I write this review after 100%ing the game. Biggest nostalgia trip for me. I remember this one from my childhood the most. Still a great game. Gotta be the hardest one in the series and the longest to 100%. Beating the campaign on Veteran called for a lot of retries, strategy changes and heavy thinking (which I like). It didn't actually take me my whole playtime to 100%. It took a bit less, but I was messing around a lot with this game outside getting 100% achievements. It's worth saying that some of the achievements required not-so-light grinding, which I'm not a fan of. Like in KR1 some towers tend to be less balanced than the others and one in particular is absolutely useless while two are completely over powered. Still, the game required a ton of creativity to figure out how to get through some levels. Final rating: 7/10
