Manage your Time and Burnout

Just like in real life, time is limited and your choices matter—will you spend your evenings nurturing your blossoming relationships, or will you burn the midnight oil to improve your skills as a tactician? Remember, whatever decisions you make, you’re stuck with forever. FOREVER.

Romance your Party Members!

Recruit a ragtag group of weird yet lovable characters, fully voiced by a talented cast of actors who kept saying “wow, this is the horniest thing I’ve ever done.” Then fill out the appropriate HR paperwork so you can get up on them.

First, an eepling in the room. I wonder why there's no ESRB rating for this game, but I'd say it's 17+. BSTS. This game is 66% visual novel (+ date sim), 33% turn-based strategy, which is a horrible combination if you ask me. Even more tags in steam list. So, how does all this works together? [*]Wonderful Voice Acting accompanied by Strong Character Development [*]Quality and Level (!= Volume) of Details in every aspect of the Game [*]Humor is Good (although not always Right) Thanks to these elements, all genres of the game are kept perfectly intertwined. It leaves an impression of a theatrical play. A good one. With nice sweets in intermissions. Try it. Demo is quite lengthy, but it doesn't transfer saves (for me it didn't). So, be careful. I'd recommend to watch a 45-60 mins of a youtube stream to decide if the game is for you. Also, Huzzah of the Year.

This is a really cute and adorable game, with lots of flaws in it -- many of which because it is new, and they will be addressed one way or another. You might enjoy it, you might not. Me -- I both like and dislike it, and I'm continuing to play, but I suspect I'm not going to complete it. A facet (and primary flaw) of the game is that there's no save and restore. Everything is always saved, there's no going back. This means that you're hurdled into a conveyer belt where there's not really any decisions. You click things and anything including an accidental click can be fixed by --- RESTARTING THE GAME! YAY! Did the UPS delivery person come and you missed some important dialogue? Too bad. Can't go back, sucks to be you. This game polices your fun and wants to make sure you don't have it without filling out the proper paperwork with HR. My advice against buying this game now is precisely that this is a game that is engaging without being fun. It's the doomscrolling of CRPGs. Presently, it's new and there's lots of bugs. Run into a bug. You're stuck. Go to their discord (where they are very nice people, by the way) and they want a bug report which you must say, "well, I dunno, I was doing stuff and this weird thing happened, and definitely that was a bug." There are scenarios where the devs have admitted that it's bugged. Want to go back once the bug is fixed? Hahahaha, sucks to be you. If the game sounds cool to you, it is. Just realize that it's deeply unsatisfying and not so much a CRPG game as a choose your own adventure thing and the creators are throwing obstacles in your path to purposely limit your enjoyment. This will be a fun game in 2028. Buy it then, when the bugs are fixed, or when they decide to put save and restore in. I'm enjoying it and also wish I had waited another few months. --- Updating my review with this. I was playing last night; it was Sunday night, an evening and I had indeed had a glass of wine, and played some more. I fumble-fingered a thing. I wasn't paying as much attention as I should have, and in my progression I have a large party. Someone died. Yup, my fault, and yet it was also the bad -- excise me -- immature -- UX of the game. My choice is to start over. I'm done. This is a delightful game with a detailed world and slaps you when you want to explore or just have fun. I hope they'll fix this and I can go back to it.

Amazing game. Made me cry twice and laugh out loud more times than I managed to keep track of. And I am so normal about these characters o.O

I am debating whether to recommend this game or not. It has been one of my absolute favorites and the mix of combat, silly horny humor, and fantastic characters makes it so much fun. However, the ending of this game is devastatingly poor, I got the $0 payout (which was described in the final scenes as the best option) and I have never had such an underwhelming finish to a game; I had to look up whether or not I was missing something. Do yourself a favor and stop playing at the court scene, everything after soured my opinion of this game so heavily. I am giving this a recommend as long as you don't go for the $0 payout ending, as it is a devastatingly poor ending. I am already playing through it again just so I can get a more fulfilling and satisfying ending so that I can end my time with Ledgerbound on a positive note.

Absolutely delightful game; good strategic elements, and so many laugh-out-loud lines, in addition to moments where I simply sat with a dopey happy smile on my face at the friendship/cozy vibes. I honestly have no idea how many takes the narrator's voice actor must have needed to NOT laugh and break character at the lines he had to deliver. (I would love an out-take-reel. :P ) Nice replay value, too; I definitely plan to head through this one again (possibly multiple times). I particularly thought Cazain's voice actor, Ben Starr, did a stellar job, and I will be looking around to see what else he's been in!

Honestly, the trailer really undersells how well made this game is. The writing is the blended love letter to both ttrpg and smut tropes that executes wonderfully. Just a group that starts out as all insufferable weirdos and everyone's humanity is found along the way. Also so much of this game is legitimately hilarious. Pallas is a comedy sniper that will hide behind his insufferable whining until just the right moment where he fully kills you dead on the spot. I do feel concerned that for those interested in romancing men are getting the short end of the stick since I feel like... 2-3 out of the 4 are going to have traits that even in a comedy fantasy setting are just plain deal breakers for a reasonable person. As opposed to the women where that's... 0-2 depending on your personal preferences. Sort of waiting for a friend's playthrough to get her opinion on that matter

Can't remember the last time I laughed THIS much playing a game. The voice cast was also phenomenal!! Pallas especially felt like the VA was giving 300% LOL. Ben Starr gave an illegally sexy performance as Cazian, actually swoonworthy oh my lord. Loved Cazian's scenes (and Astros' too while I'm at it hehe). Can't wait to see what's next from these devs.
