简单体验了一下，不知道具体剧情内容如何，但是画风和初感觉是很不错的，本来想尝试啃下生肉，没太多比较难的词，但是文本量好大，对于我这种三脚猫水平的还是有点难，打算等中文了 亲爱的作者同志，游戏有中文名，中文简介，中文详细介绍，中文封面，那我们的中文呢？已购买支持，莫辜负！ Dear developer, this game already has a Chinese name, a Chinese description, a detailed Chinese introduction and a Chinese cover. So far it's a yes with a few things I wish were different. 1) only having 4 tabs open on the browser at a time felt bad at several points in the story. 2) a freely resizable window mode would have been appreciated 3) not being able to resize the internet browser is frustrating 4) notes don't save if you save and reopen the game 5) not being able to minimize windows seems like a huge oversight

please PLEASE PLEASE play this, I'm constantly on the search for games like this and I've always found it rare to find desktop explore types (I think i've played them all lol) the storytelling, the artwork and the gameplay is beautiful and engaging, the puzzles aren't so rediclously hard that you get frustrated and quite but also aren't super easy that it becomes boring. and the use of certain effects which i want spoil really gives this game a proper uncanny feeling. highly recomend

super torn on this one but ultimately liked it enough (and liked what it had to say) enough for it to be a yes over a no. conveniently bullet pointed list which i don't love doing but i am mixed enough that it makes life easier for us all: THINGS I LIKES - generally good art direction / assets, which i do find some "unfiction" games struggle with. this goes for the soundtrack too - it does visit all the standard 4th wall breaks you tend to see in these games it does do some fun things i have not seen! - although it does kind of split its time between the two, i particularly enjoyed seeing a project like this that delves into the "modern" internet instead of just throwback y2k era stuff. the fake tiktoks were something i wish there were more of - overall enjoyed the story and it's nice to see a game like this that offers a genuinely unique and largely feminine perspective THINGS I DIDN'T LIKES - okay so i liked the story AND it's perspective overall but it can be a little too upfront about what it is getting at. there is a loooot of monologuing from your Woman-In-The-Chair you talk to over the course of the game and it does occasionally become excessive / breaks up the pace a bit too much. this is kind of the most notable problem of the game to me, and it becomes more notable as it goes on and the game's balance shifts heavily in favor of there being a lot of narrative stuff vs gameplay stuff - puzzles are all really easy / borderline not puzzles at all. nothing ever stumped me or even felt like it required me to think at all, really. i think this is partially a symptom of there not being THAT much to 'explore.' what's there is good and obviously high-effort but usually the only information available is the necessary information needed to progress the story, so there aren't any red herrings / little pathways to get lost in - the horror aspect is... weird? like, vaguely unnecessary weird? no specific spoilers here but given the nature of the mystery, it's genuinely odd to me that there's this kind of analog horror undercurrent and it did not work for me. it also didn't bother me, it just fell flat a bit. i would have almost preferred for this to have been a more straightforward detective experience without the in-your-face horror. honestly the spookiest things in this game are parts of the actual story! - it's short which is not an actual problem for me, but it DID end literally as soon as it started getting to what was my favorite part of the game so far, haha overall a fun experience and worth it's pretty small pricetag, but i do think it's a your mileage may vary thing. glad it exists because it offers a valuable perspective and i do like some of the things it does a lot, but it's also undeniably a little all-over-the-place and your tolerance for monologues and more or less playing an entirely linear experience that is a vehicle for a plot will heavily affect your enjoyment.

I heard about this game a long time ago, and coincidentally checked it again today right before it got released! I absolutely loved the demo and immediately bought the game. This was an amazing experience. Not too scary (I'm a scaredy cat so I was still scared, but it wasn't too bad), the puzzles were challenging but not too hard, the art is amazing, the text is even better. Everything looks so real, as if we were really back in the early 2000s! Now, for the sad part: the lore. Very well written, very sad and, sadly, resonates for many of us. It is maddening to know that this is real for many people, not only the disorders mainly because of social medias, but also the amount of people caught in cults and whose lives are in danger. Please remember, if you are dealing with any of the explored topics, that you are worth being loved and that getting help (real one, not from a cult!) does not mean you are weak. My only wish? For the game to be longer, of course! But that's probably how anyone would feel when playing such a game. You just want to discover more!

孩子们虽然封面是中文但是其实没汉化，主人公是亚裔。 斜角+网页解密最近在简中这边太流行了导致剧情显得略微老套，但是精致的y2k风格绝对值得一品，我在游玩的时候出现字体重叠bug，后续应该会修，解谜稍微有点跳脱，有iris指引倒也不算难，整个走向更多是打感情牌但是iris你个啥子明明是我先进的聊天室啊（为啥把我踢了让我不太能绷住。 总之，不管是小姑娘还是小伙子，亿万人爱自己。

Nostalgic, mysterious, and upsettingly cringe (complimentary). The current steam market has a lot of "fake OS" games out there that all have a common throughline of investigating a mystery via a desktop interface - often one that's intentionally dated. After so many of these games it can be easy to get jaded at the state of the genre and consider them all too "samey". But Lily's World XD fights this fatigue by hitting such a specific mixture of early 2000s internet culture, girly flash game aesthetics, and a creeping sense that your nostalgia for "better days" is horrifically inaccurate. Altogether, the game reignites my interest in this format in way I haven't felt since 2015's Her Story. You have all the tools needed to investigate what happened to Lily - a browser, computer files, direct messages, and even a playlist! And the game trusts you to piece these elements together with little hand-holding, but still laying some well placed breadcrumbs to keep you on the right track. So far every puzzle has been solvable just through careful attention to clues without any need for aggressive guidance. Ultimately, the game's puzzle design does it exactly what it needs to: it establishes (and maintains) a stable, trusting contract between designer and player. I haven't solved the mystery quite yet, but the game's design, its writing, and its vibes (especially the vibes!) are keeping me hooked to see it through to the end.

I'd been waiting for this game to come out for a while and was really hyped for the release... and dare I say it CRAZILY EXCEEDED my expectations?!? After finishing my first playthrough I'm astounded by the love and care put into this project - not only does it look amazing but the storyline is so well thought out with anecdotes that I think any person could relate to. This is a beautiful piece of art and an amazing game, please give it a shot.
