Bought this game on sale as it was cheap and recommended to me. I love a good classic murder mystery and I wasn't expecting much from it but I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. The humor, setting, characters, music. It just all fits together to create such a fun experience. You can really tell this game was made by people who love what they do and it translate into every minute of this game!

This game was a 10/10, the characters really made it and the gameplay was good fun, especially solving the mystery. If you like murder mystery and click and point games you will enjoy this. I had so much fun playing it!

Loco Motive is a point-and-click game done right. The murder on the Orient express vibes are very relevant throughout the game, and the game seems to blend critical thinking and witty humor together in a nice Mish mash that I can safely say is one of my most favorite games I’ve played this year. This game sat on my wish list for quite a while while it was in development, and I can tell it was made with love and care. I’ve been really impressed with the two hours. I’ve been playing so far. The gameplay is very immersive, it does have a lot of things right, even the music is pretty witty and catchy. I can’t wait to see how it The Good (+) Immersion. I actually feel like I’m on a murder mystery on a train. (+) Engaging characters. Every character with dialogue is fully voiced and feels like a part of the story, even if they aren’t a suspect. (+) The player character can run, big plus if you’re trying to get from one end of the train to the other. (+) The tutorial on how to play. The game is very engaging, supportive, and gives really good guidance on what you’re supposed to be doing (+) Some of the early puzzles are really clever. A nice blend of easy to medium in difficulty, but it really gets you thinking without being frustrated. The Meh (/) There is an endgame hint system that’s nice, but it doesn’t always hit the mark, I’ve found myself needing to use an online walk-through for one or two parts of the game. The Bad (-) As with all point and click adventure type games, there will be times where the clues just aren’t really enough. Thankfully, there’s very few moments like that in this game. I think I’ve only had to use a walk-through for one or two of the puzzles, but I’m trying to do the rest on my own cause I actually just really like this game. Overall, this is a very charming game, plenty of witty humor, fun characters, immersion, and I really look forward to future games like this title.

I love this game. Loved the graphics, the gameplay, the storyline, the vibes and the characters. Herman is the one who has most of my love and I loved playing as him and causing all the chaos. Definitely has become one of my favorites in this genre.

通关完立马来评了，我很喜欢！ 文本风格很诙谐，让我找回了小时候玩侦探游戏的初心，不如说这才是我理想的推理游戏应该有的样子；推理难度较低，且内置提示，几乎所有道具组合都很合理；线索给得很到位，卡在刚刚好你能猜出来一些，但是仍留有反转的余地；最合适的叙事手法，非常有幽默+侦探的味道，我觉得太棒了！ 完全值得一玩，很有互动电影的感觉！另外配音非常到位，再加上自动播放，电影味太对了

非常精致像素动画和令人惊喜的全配音，全流程游玩下来感觉像看了一部搞笑喜剧风格的侦探剧。游戏通过三个可操纵人物横纵交错串联起一整个故事，通过不同视角展现故事发展。有时当你操作角色a碰见角色b，去经历不同视角下同一件事情的时候，会有一种“啊，原来如此”的感觉。但游戏文本量非常大，且有些解密方式需要注意对话。如果不注意看对话很容易卡关，虽然部分解密只要打电话甚至能得到手把手的提示，但是有些提示实在不在点上。且解密需要注意步骤，一定要1到2这样解不可以直接1到3。适合有耐心观看大量文本喜爱像素风搞笑探案的人游玩

有意思的解谜类游戏，解密不算困难（但是新手指引真是有够糟糕的我一开始甚至没意识到能把物品组合在一起），剧情是很常见的故事甚至可以说很老套，角色塑造鲜明有特点，地主家的两个傻儿子我还挺喜欢的。

It's a well-known trope that point and click adventure games expect some of the wildest logical leaps and mind-bending lateral thinking out there. And I belong to the category of players that only ever finished the genre classics with a guide. Unsurprisingly then, I found many of the puzzle interactions and solutions in Loco Motive to be too obscure. You didn't happen to notice the bag under the table where a character sat two scenes ago? Back to the Dirk Chiselton Hotline you go. But perhaps what I experienced as frustrating is really just the game staying true to genre traditions; I must plead ignorance. The story setup of Loco Motive presents itself as a classic whodunit, but that is misleading. The story is really not about uncovering the identity of the killer. Instead, it is a collection of wacky puzzle scenarios that share a location where a murder also happened. And yet, the game ultimately won me over with its charm and strong finish. I enjoyed the last three parts the most, mainly because the locations are smaller and the solutions less obscure. Add to that the fantastic characters, brought to life by the expressive animations and sublime voice acting. I'm glad I stuck with it until the end.
