I've been absolutely binging roguelites lately. Seeing as I already liked the first Random game, this just kinda completes that circle. The "spells", or cards, are interesting and unique, and can synergize with different elements. The weapons are fun (hammer and bow are goated), and again, there's synergy with different stuff. The color-coded in-run upgrade system is super unique, and I love it. It's like having a tic-tac-toe game within a roguelite. You really have to think about placement, and not just right then, but for future upgrades, too. It's a mini-puzzle. Meta-upgrades are fine. Maybe I still just haven't unlocked it, but I wish there was a double-dash upgrade. The game can be a bit stingy with healing, but there are some ways around that. Enemies and bosses are pretty fun, and there are actual mechanics to most of them (though Formageddon MA Ultra might be a bit overtuned; there's sh*t flying EVERYWHERE). The story picks up right where you left off in the first game, only you're playing the queen now! All in all, great purchase. I got it on sale, but honestly I think it'd be worth it at full price. Plenty of stuff to unlock, plenty of stuff to experiment with, plenty of things to discover. 8/10 PS: you'll be using the charge attack a lot. It's hold X (attack). My thumb hurts. Yours will hurt, too.

This is a well-built Hades-like game in the Lost in Random universe, with a few minor unique mechanics. If you enjoy both Hades' gameplay and the Lost in Random universe, you'll probably like the game. The combat feels good enough, and discovering tiny lore pieces along the way is fun. No doubt I'd prefer one more story-focused game in the franchise, but this one is also a great experience. The game runs great on the Steam Deck.

ein wunderschönes Game mit viel Liebe gemacht und auch nicht leicht durchzuspielen. Trotzdem verzweifelt man nicht daran, sondern wird vielmehr süchtig danach und inklusive Story die man nicht skippen möchte mit sehr funny Voicelines

Очень понравилась игра. Атмосфера просто шикарная, визуал в стиле первой части, а боевая система реально затягивает. Каждый забег хочется попробовать что-то новое, собрать другой билд и посмотреть, что из этого выйдет. Не сказать, что игра идеальная, иногда забеги становятся немного однообразными, но в целом впечатления очень положительные. Особенно если вам нравятся рогалики и необычные сказочные миры. Однозначно рекомендую попробовать.

Чудова гра! Приємний гемплей, незамислуватий сюжет в продовження першої частини. Радий, що розробники вирішили зробити цю гру зовсім іншою від першої частини, адже це ще один спосіб розказати історію. Сподіваюся, що наступна частина також буде іншою і приємною для гри. Окрема вдячність за українську локалізацію!

The item build mechanics are pretty unique and fun. Art style deserves special mentions. I do love everything about this game except dialogs. They are not that bad but I found them kind of basic and boring, skipped almost everything.

The sudden shift in gameplay direction can feel surprising at first. The mechanical loop differs quite a bit from earlier releases, but the new approach still offers a reasonably engaging change of pace. Diving into a nightmare themed setting involves chaining combat moves with dice based attacks. Stacking relics creates noticeable synergies that build momentum during tougher encounters, giving the experience a board game inspired dungeon crawl feel. Rolling dice to determine attack strength adds a modest layer of strategy to the usual hack and slash action. The dark aesthetic works well with heavier instrumental music from bands like System of a Down or Disturbed. Players who enjoy fast action and experimenting with relic combinations may find enough here to stay entertained for a while.

Pretty bad, gets repetitive and grindy, time-wastey in no time. Don't waste your time on this one. I bought it when it came out in good faith, but would not recommend.
