The game is really good; I think it's one of the best games that handles the mafia theme. I really liked the relationship and the sense of conflict between Tommy and Sarah. I was missing games that I could finish in one sitting without high expectations, so I finished this one in 10 hours. The racing section was where I cursed and went crazy, but I still finished it in a few attempts. If you haven't tried it and you like the mafia theme, definitely give it a try. 80/100

I want to say, game designer of the racing game, I wish you get hit by a truck when you go out, and your family should also go and cosplay truck speed bumps. Questo schifo di controllo delle curve, questo ostacolo obbligatorio che non si può saltare. Vorrei dire ai designer di corse: ti auguro di essere investito da un camion appena esci di casa, e che la tua famiglia si metta a saltare i tombini dei camion. Di solito non maledico, ma questa volta non è più il caso di sprecare soldi, è stato un cazzo di sei ore.

Mafia: Definitive Edition — удачный ремейк классической игры, который сохраняет основные достоинства оригинала, одновременно адаптируя их к современным техническим и художественным стандартам. Одним из наиболее заметных изменений стало преображение Lost Heaven. Город получил значительно более детализированное окружение, а визуальная составляющая в целом стала гораздо выразительнее. Была переработана и система перестрелок, сделавшая игровой процесс более удобным и динамичным. Персонажи получили дополнительную проработку, а сюжет — более кинематографичную подачу. При этом ремейк не утратил ту атмосферу, которая являлась одной из главных особенностей оригинальной игры. Сюжет игры во многом опирается на традиции классического гангстерского жанра. В центре повествования находятся темы семьи, верности, предательства и последствий выбора, связанного с преступным миром. Благодаря этому некоторые сюжетные эпизоды вызывают ассоциации с произведениями гангстерского кинематографа, в частности с «Крёстным отцом». Однако Mafia сохраняет собственную идентичность и не сводится исключительно к следованию жанровым шаблонам. При этом оригинальная версия для меня остаётся более аутентичной с точки зрения атмосферы и общего художественного восприятия. В Definitive Edition история получила современную визуальную форму и более кинематографичную подачу, что одновременно является её сильной стороной и отличает её от оригинала. Mafia: Definitive Edition можно рассматривать не просто как техническое обновление классической игры, а как её современную интерпретацию. First playthrough review time. Mafia: Definitive Edition is a very well made remake with a strong atmosphere and a serious tone. The 1930s setting looks excellent, with detailed streets, buildings, lighting, weather, and a soundtrack that fits the setting very well. The visuals are one of the strongest parts of the game, but the presentation does not depend only on graphics. The city has a believable look, and the overall design helps the game keep its crime drama style throughout the experience. The story is another major strength. It is serious, well paced, and easy to follow without becoming too simple. The writing focuses on loyalty, trust, power, and difficult choices, while the characters have clear personalities and their own reasons for what they do. The story also has a good balance between quieter moments and more intense sections. It does not spend too much time on unnecessary side content, which keeps the main experience focused. The gameplay is solid and gives enough variety to keep things moving. Shooting works well, and the cover system is useful during larger fights. Driving has a slower style that fits the setting, while the missions include shooting, driving, stealth, chases, and other situations. Stealth is quite basic and enemy behavior can sometimes be inconsistent, but these problems are not present often enough to cause major issues. Free Ride also gives some extra space to explore the city, search for collectibles, and find hidden content. There is not a huge amount of extra activity outside the main missions, so players looking for a large open world filled with side activities may find the game limited. Some enemy behavior can also be predictable at times. The main experience stays focused, the missions have good variety, and the city gives the game a strong setting without making the map feel overloaded with things to do. I played with all settings maxed out and had no FPS drops during my playthrough. Overall, Mafia: Definitive Edition is an excellent game with great visuals, a strong atmosphere, good storytelling, and solid gameplay. It has a few simple systems and limited side content, but its main strengths are much more important. The game stays focused, looks impressive, and delivers a well paced crime story without unnecessary distractions. The presentation and atmosphere are probably the best parts of the game, while the story and gameplay are also handled well. Overall, it is a nice remake.

This game is the real deal. Capisce? Mafia: DE took the whole 1930's world and rebuilt it proper. The streets, buildings, weather, music...everything puts you right there in the middle of the booming city of Lost Heaven. And I’m not just talking about pretty graphics, paisan. The whole place feels alive. Every street, neighborhood and detail fits the atmosphere. And the story? Now that’s where this game earns my respect. It’s serious, well paced, and it knows when to keep its mouth shut and let the characters do the talking. Loyalty, trust, power, betrayal...this is the kind of story where you learn real quick that everybody’s got an angle. The characters have personality, they’ve got reasons for what they do, and nobody feels like they’re just standing around waiting for their turn to talk. Best part? It doesn’t waste your time with a million pointless distractions. You want the story? You get the story. You want the crime drama? You get the crime drama. Nice and focused...that’s how you do business. The gameplay is solid. Shooting works and the cover system comes in handy when things get loud(believe me, things get loud). Driving has a feel that fits the period, but I’m warning you now that some of those driving missions are rough. Real rough. Speaking of missions, they give you the whole package: killing, driving, stealth, chases, robbery...whatever the family needs done. Then you got Free Ride, which lets you take the car out and explore the massive city. And let me tell you, you don't even get to see 90% of this place during the story. You can find collectibles(there are a lot but it wasn't that big of a grind), hunt down some pretty cool cars, and just take your time enjoying the Lost Heaven. It’s nothing revolutionary but it gives you a little more time with the world. Now, if you’re expecting a world where every corner has a dozen activities waiting for you, you might feel like somebody skimmed your envelope. There’s not a ton of side content here. But honestly? I don’t mind it. The game knows what kind of business it’s running. And hats off to the hidden Easter eggs. I really liked the Assassin’s Creed and Speed references. Nice little surprises for anybody paying attention. Overall, Mafia: Definitive Edition is an excellent game. Great visuals, fantastic atmosphere, strong storytelling, solid gameplay...the whole family’s brought something to the table. It knows what it wants to be, and it sticks to the plan. No unnecessary nonsense. No trying to be something it isn’t. Just a focused crime story set in a beautifully rebuilt 1930s city. Now get in the car before somebody starts asking questions. 9/10. Fuhgeddaboudit.

Muy buen juego, los graficos se ven muy bien, las armas me parecen bastante buenas sobretodo las escopuercas, algo lo cual me hipermegacago fueron los malditos taxistas desgraciados pues uno va manejando aca escuchando musica bien aca como el victambo o al como extraño a mi baaaaarrioooooo aca bien sabroski con una perrita aca, con un drip malvado lleno de AURA manejando uno de los carros ocultos y de la nada se mete un malparido y chocas la anomalia de la ingeniera automotriz y se te baja el mood y ahora aver como justificas con el ralphie que el mustangson (no hay mustangs segun yo vea) trae un besito o mejor dicho una morididota de burro porque un hijodetodasumeramadre se metio y estampaste el carro
