2Dアクションのステルス物で最高の逸品ではないでしょうか ゲームバランスは全く破綻していないし、存分に忍者ステルスを楽しめます 唯一欠点を挙げると (そんな事をする人達には欠点ではないのかも知れないが) ハイスコアを本気で狙おうとした場合、無力化した敵のその後の処理にかなりの時間が掛かるという点でしょうか これはスコアシステムに関連した場合のみで、通常プレイではそんな手間は掛からないです 良いゲームです

A remarkable game! Mark of the Ninja is quite the enjoyable 2D stealth game, with a precise gameplay that allows the player to complete missions in various ways. The experience is highly replayable and it offers quite a good balanced level of challenge. The story is well made, perhaps a bit generic but it suits the adventure nicely. What is indeed memorable is the game's art direction, a mix between a comic book and Japanese ink paintings. Overall Mark of the Ninja is an enjoyable game, an Xbox Live Arcade title that, well, left its mark in the gaming scene!

So, I bought Mark of the Ninja many years ago when I thought I enjoyed stealth games; playing it now, I'm confirming why I've since decided that I don't enjoy stealth games. Honestly, the game seems....fine, it's just really not for me. If you're a big fan of stealth games, looking at other reviews, this is probably a must play for you. If you're not into stealth games, this is absolutely not going to change your mind or stand out for you. Like most games of its type, Mark of the Ninja is extremely tedious. The fluidity of its movement is constantly interrupted by being forced to stop and wait for patrols or lasers or some other such. It sort of reminds me of the early Sonic titles in that way - the most fun way to play is constantly punished. Since it's scoring my run, it's clear the game really wants you to replay every mission, memorize them, and then the game will shine, but I really don't have the time to do that, so instead I get this really awkward, stilted experience. The story seems super weak from the get go, the art style is kind of ugly if you ask me, the QTEs to perform a kill are annoying, being unable to fight back when spotted is ridiculous, the level design is super misleading sometimes, most interactions are either too apparent or not apparent enough, and the AI is super inconsistent, etc. etc. I think I've made my point. Clearly I'm in the minority on this one, but this game is anti-fun.

Hugely under rated gem, its actually really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good Pros: The stealth is very good, it gives you different ways to play/approach an area, while also letting you mess around a lot and do your own things, but still offering a decent challenge. Pro 2: Messing up is fun. You can slide tackle guards and use gadgets to distract/harm them, then grapple away onto a lightpost or something (did I mention this game has a grapple hook?) Pro 3: After you beat it you get new game+ and you can also replay it with different masks which change up your gameplay somewhat (you also unlock the masks during your first run, so you'll unlock masks with the gameplay style you gravitate towards and can use them during your first playthrough too :) Pro 4: You can be a ♥♥♥♥ to the guards and spook em (traumatize them) and have them shoot eachother in a panic :) Pro 5: Ancient game so you should be able to run it on a potato. Cons: uhhh completely linear story ig. Also the level design can sometimes pidgeonhole you into certain routes (although this isn't always common and you can still always try to subvert it if you want) Lastly the last part of the game kinda sucks a bit because of the difficulty spike and annoying enemies, but thats sort of it. Like there really isn't many cons to this game and it has a lot of cool stuff. PLAY IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grałem w te grę 12 lat temu - na tyle dawno, że trudno mi z ręką na sercu powiedzieć czy obroniłaby się ona dzisiaj. Jestem jednak pewien, że żadna gra o skradaniu nie przypadła mi przez te wszystkie lata tak do gustu jak ta.
