I am really torn here. It seems that for everything they got right, they got something equally wrong. At the end of the day, avoid this game if you hate frustration caused by things outside your control. What they got (mostly) right: - Career Mode: It is probably the bread and butter of this MSFS iteration. It is both the best and the worst part of MSFS2024. - (almost) randomly generated misions based on specific skills, plane classifications, tasks. - A really good assortment of different plane types. What they absolutely failed at (career mode specific): - Economy is garbage. Working your way up to higher tier airplanes is tedious. The cost is really high, the mission payouts along the way are mostly really bad. it can take 300 game hours just to get your first "used" Boeing 787. This isnt to say the way cannot be enjoyable, but it is a frustration that builds up. Buyer be warned. - Mission generation is in need of improvement. You finally buy that 787, and then there are no missions available that warrent the use of a 787. (this is not limited to the 787, i am using it as an example) But you land your plane at an airport during a mission, you earn your 15-20 million credits, and then you either have to spend 3-8 million credits moving your plan to accept a new mission, or leave it and hope that you can get a return flight some other time you boot up the game, or do 20k short range missions trying to get access to more missions hidden by 'fog'. - Glitches! OH MY GOD THE GLITCHES!! I just landed my 787 PERFECTLY, on rollout, it bounced due to a glitch and suddenly there was a 'tire failure' and it shut down the entire mission -- over 20 million credits lost along with many real world hours. Another time, i was pushing back, and during a cutscene, the plane started bouncing and the same thing happened. it regeistered as a crash and that was it. It is infuriating. - the SAAB plane for example... hit a specific switch and the whole GPU crashes. The frustrating thing is that I still want to play it somehow, even though i am angry about a lot of these issues. I like the format. I like the variety of airplanes, I like how you can buy and sell airplanes, fix them, be in charge of mantainance. I like playing the role of an airline transport guru, earning the money, and using that to expand my fleet which can be "flown" by the computer in the background. Regardless of all that is good or bad, one negative remains. The save files (from what i understand) are not local. They are all on the publishers cloud. Assuming i understood this correctly, it doesnt make me comfortable. what happens if they decide to shut off the servers for some reason... MSFS2024 has unbelievable potential, but they need to fix stuff. A lot of stuff. EDIT: If the developer would like suggestions to improve this game, Id be more than happy to share my thoughts and suggestions....

I'm 70 Years Old, Retired and hold a Privet Pilot - Single Engine Land Certificate. I cant pass my Medical any more because of two Prior Strokes. All that said, I do enjoy using this Simulator. It's very good and the visual modeling is satisficing to see.

While this is a technically impressive piece of software, it is unusably buggy still - two years in. Unbelievable performance unpredictability coupled with a still-unusable career mode and a world map that kind of just... disappears... make this a waste of money. Stick with 2020.

The game is nice and fun, but the bugs are killing me... I cant answer on the radio to affirm stuff, the game crashes, the fuel in missions are wrong, sometimes my plain spawns on top of a building. The career mission bugs very often and i have to start all over after 1h flight.. Alot of bugs. Still a fun game but a bit frustrated. After 30H gametime i have found around 15 bugs, so THERE IS ALOT.

生涯模式这么多bug你们还修不修了？我tm在玩你们这沙比生涯模式就要被气死了，忙活一个小时降落到地面塔台未响应这个bug到现在还不修，然后整个任务就失败了，飞机操纵时不时失灵，ATC经常无法回答，这游戏2年多了还不修这些bug微软你们还是人吗，为了防止我在玩到gta6之前被你们气死我以后不会在玩生涯模式了

This game has been out for quite some time now, but it seems like there have been no real significant updates to some problems that seem pretty glaring. -in career mode, it takes many missions to work your way up to a point where you are earning a bonus for an "S" reputation, but if you make a very simple mistake, you may only get an "A" rating, which will then result in a negative impact that has 10x the negative affect as any positive impact you can receive for doing everything perfectly -There are many times in a mission that some bug in a game results in a negative rating on your mission, even though there were no rules broken; no missed communication, no missed waypoints, no taxi rules broken, no unauthorized actions, etc - at times resulting in a very low aviator score for example, which will then result in your overall reputation getting reduced to a point that will take you 10-20 hours to make up with perfect missions with no bugs occurring. -the character voices and inflections seem to be given completely to AI with no developer effort whatsoever, which takes away from the overall game experience -It is not uncommon to run into some bug that will not allow you to finish a mission. Some missions take several hours to complete, only to find out at the end that it cannot be completed and all of your time has been wasted.

На мой взгляд, это самый гибкий, лояльный и доступный симулятор авиации для игрока, играя на геймпаде от XBOX Series X, можно насладиться управлением ЛА от самого примитивного, до большого грузового Airbus beluga. Игра гибко настраивается под игрока, есть множество конфигураций, а функциональная кабина позволяет полностью погрузиться в процесс подготовки к пилотированию, есть челленджи, получение лицензии и прохождение кампании, свободный полет из любой точки мира по маршруту который вам захочется, ограничен только дальностью выбранного вами ЛА. Игра требовательна к SSD и вашему интернету, для многих игроков из РФ могут быть проблемы, спасибо "РКН" конторе "солнышек", ну тут я думаю не секрет что без прокси и ВПН теперь никуда. Оптимизация хорошая, если у вас железо актуальное или прошлого поколения, не старше чем на 1, то переживать не стоит. На моей системе на Максимальном качестве графики с динамической генерацией кадров от Nvidia с DLAA в среднем 120-160 Fps в 1440p, из минусов присутствует небольшой "гостинг" по краям динамичных объектов, но в данной игре это не критично, не мешает геймплею.
